  • Pricey for a screen that sometimes freezes.
Size: Keyboard + iCUE Nexus Style: Corsair iCUE Nexus
It's a good device and I absolutely love it because you can customize it. A LOT. You can customize it a bunch. You can even set a Live wallpaper in it. But don't expect superior resolution. It's a basic device meant to serve you as almost like an assistant. You can add additional hotkeys to it, change DPI of your mouse, add profile buttons to instantly change the color of your keyboard, mouse & PC. (With other Corsair devices of course.) The temperatures will even show up in the screen if you want to monitor them while your gaming or something. That's why I like it. Because of the amount of things it can do for you. I have almost 10 screens now and it works as intended. However, their are performances that are questionable. What I notice is that whenever I switch to a screen that has motion. (Like a gif or something.) The CPU temperature raises like 5 degrees. Now I think that's a bug that Corsair isn't aware of at this time so hopefully in the future that will be looked at. Also, when switching screens, it could be a little clunky. It's only because it's not 60fps. It's 30 and below. Sometimes when I try to switch screens to quickly with my fingers, it'll pause for about a second or freeze for a moment then return to normal. Sometimes, when streaming it'll also get stuck and I would have to restart the whole device by reconnecting the USB. That also crashes the iCUE app, which could be frustrating. With all that said, the price for this is far too high for what feels like an experimental project. The device feels like a beta product and has a ton and ton of room for improvements. So it would be up to you to make the choice whether or not you'll want this product with the problems I've listed. It didn't permanently break, it still works just fine as if it's bran new. But keep in mind, you will go through slight problems because of the instability of the device. I don't know if it's hardware related or the iCUE software struggling to process the info from the Nexus. Maybe both! But honestly, I think if they update the iCUE with a heck of an overhaul with faster loading times and smooth process along with the nexus doing the same, less problems will emerge. But that's my opinion on it and it's Only an opinion. My review still stands. ... show more

  • It's really cool and helpful, but not a necessity
Size: Keyboard + iCUE Nexus Style: Corsair iCUE Nexus
There are a lot of complaints about the iCUE NEXUS Companion Touch Screen, but, in my opinion, it's pretty cool. I have it attached to a K100 keyboard and I'm using it as a status monitor for temps, app launcher, and iCue toolkit. I like the way it functions and looks. No, it's not perfect, and yes, it costs a lot of $ but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. ... show more

  • It works. Not worth $100.
Size: Keyboard + iCUE Nexus Style: Corsair iCUE Nexus
The bad: It works for what I need it for. But the screen is super narrow, and low resolution, the viewing angles are bad too. You have to look at it dead on or it starts to get washed out. I don't see this being a problem really if you attach it to the keyboard like I did, since you will be facing it all the time, but if you set up up as a stand alone, you will need to set it up so it's always facing you dead on ahead of you, can't be off to the side. I personally was expecting more for $100, it should be priced at $50-$75. But to get to the good : I'm a video editor, YouTuber, and this makes it extremely easy to manage my files, I set it up so my most used folders are easily accessible from a tap, and when im gaming, just a swipe and I have all my PC Metrics, Temperatures. It's a nice little QoL improvement for sure. Just a bit overpriced for what it is and what it does. ... show more

  • On-Keyboard System Hardware Monitor LCD (And More!)
Size: Keyboard + iCUE Nexus Style: Corsair iCUE Nexus
Built a beastly PC over the holidays - Core i9 14900K w/360mm AIO, RTX 4090 24GB OC, 2x 32GB DDR5 6000, 2x 2TB PCIe5 nVME SSDs - and wanted a small LCD to display system stats, particularly temperature. Did not want anything bulky on the desktop, and spotted this LCD from Corsair that was small enough to ride on a keyboard, large enough to be legible at keyboard distance, and provides multiple screens of information via touch screen. The usable portion of the screen is 3/8" x 5", but that's plenty of space for my purpose. The screen comes with three plastic mounts for various Corsair keyboards as well as a desktop "pod" if a keyboard mount isn't used. I had eyeballed this product referencing various ads and reviews and intended to attach it to my keyboard using one of the mounts that utilize double-side mounting tape, and that is exactly what I ended up doing. I have it programmed with three screens of various temperatures, device loading, fan speeds, etc, all available just by scrolling. The interface will wrap around "either end" so one can scroll forwards or backwards from the home screen, speeding up access to nested displays. It has already proven to be a very effective solution that takes up little space. Cheers! ... show more
