  • Good for the price
Color: Window Size: Standard Style: 100R
This is a $50 ATX case, plain and simple. I needed cheap ATX case with clearance for a large cooler (Hyper 212 Plus - the old one, not the newer Evo) and this one just barely fit. The case is a good blending of quality and cheap. It now houses my home server. The good: -Tool-less drive bays -Lots of holes for routing and managing cables -Bulges on side panels allow for bundling cables behind the mobo tray. -Appearance is good in my opinion-modern and angular, like a little computing obelisk. -A small detail but I really appreciate the plastic feet on the bottom raising the case up a bit for the air intake on the PSU. The included fan filter for that intake is also great. The not-so-good: -Cheap feeling thin side panels and plastic front bezel, not a big surprise given the price. -Front-mounted 120mm fans intake from their sides and there's almost no room for air to flow in to the fans. As a result it compromises their effectiveness. Instead there should either be more intake space or a grill on the front. -Two front mounts for 120/140mm fans are drilled for smaller long fan screws yet only one set of long screws came with the case. Some hard work with normal-sized screws opened up the holes but it was a pain. -No side panel air intakes. This case runs warm for me even with all five 120mm fans installed. I am pleased enough with the case that I don't plan to return it but I think Cooler Master could make a few adjustments that would really turn this case into a true winner. It met my needs for a cheap ATX case that had free same-day delivery. ... show more

  • Fantastic case for the money
Color: Solid Size: Standard Style: 100R
Pros: The wiring paths are clean and easy to use The drive bays are pretty easy and secure screwless (for HDs), with screws for SSDS Solid construction (for a sub $100 case). Very quiet Fits my Cooler Master Hyper 12 Evo Cons Side panel could be a little more solid. The brackets along the PCI slots in the back are pretty flimsy, I bent 2 all the way in half.. luckily my video card takes up 2 spots. With the cons listed, I may be giving the impression that the case has a light/cheap feel, but it does not. Those were the only 2 pieces that I found lacking. The overall construction felt very solid and I at no point felt as if I was about bend some part of it, as I've done before with cheaper cases. ... show more

  • Buy anything else, just don't buy this Case!
Color: Window Size: Standard Style: 100R
Main issue here is a faulty front panel and MAIN POWER SWITCH... meaning the button to turn on his system! the power switch were both the leads to front panel are just flatly wired bad, on both the wire and leads to the front panel as well as connector for the motherboard were the fitting was done so poorly that it doesn't keep the contact. Yes I could have re-soldered the wire so it works correctly, but the point in buying one of these cases , especially from a maker like Corsair is higher expectation of quality and frankly this case isn't worth the cost we spent on it! Other Minor issues , very poor cable-management and poor fan placement why have cooler fans that obstruct access to the 12v connector for any intel Motherboard. Which you can argue you don't need but because of the power air circulation this system would have you need every possible fan in it just to cool your system! Lastly the cost I paid $70 at the time of purchase, in all honesty it isn't worth more then $5 with bad QC that was done on this case!. Bottom line buy something else! ... show more

  • Great case, but it does have its quirks!
Color: Window Size: Standard Style: 100R
Overall, I really like this case, but there's a few things I'd note for anyone that's going to look to build using it. The power supply bay is on the bottom of the case. This isn't really a huge issue except that my one of my motherboard's power connectors was located at the very top of the motherboard and the cable from the power supply was barely long enough to get around my video card to the connector. The top of the case is mostly mesh where fans can be mounted. Not a huge deal but just something to consider if you're the kind of person that puts things on top of their CPU case when it's in use. There's a mother board post in the bag of screws and the manual that ships with the case doesn't really reference anything about it other than the fact that it's included. Most of the posts are pre-installed in the case; the last one should be screwed into the spot marked "A" for ATX motherboards or "M" for mATA motherboards, I guess they figured anyone building a system would probably just intuit that themselves. The cabling for the various headers - a couple of the cables could've been more clearly marked in terms of which direction (i.e. + vs -) they fit on the board, but looking at some of the other connectors it was fairly easy to figure out in context. The front panel took a little more force than I expected to remove... I was so afraid I was going to break the plastic when pulling off the front facade to install the optical drive. I had trouble putting the facade back on after putting the optical drive in - oddly enough, I had to put the facade on first then slide the optical drive in because there's a little lip on the facade that gets caught on the front face of the optical drive. I think this might be a little bit of an issue if it comes to removing it again, because essentially I have to remove the optical drive first. I guess the only reason I'd really have to remove the facade ever again would be if the optical drive needed replacement or I decided to put a second drive in for some reason, so probably not a huge deal. Finally, I wish the instruction manual gave more info on how they intended to help with cable routing and management. It might have influenced me to make slightly different decisions on order of putting components into the case. For instance, this is the first case I've ever seen where the hard drive mounting trays are designed to have the cables face the opaque side of the case rather than the window panel side. Once I figured it out (I was kinda getting frustrated that the drive trays screws seemed to be aligned backwards before I gave it real thought), I actually think I like it better from a cable management standpoint. However, it does mean that I need to remove both side panels to add drives. Again, not a huge deal, especially since both panels are easily removed with thumbnail screws, it's just a unique design. Love the toolless drive bays, for both the optical drive and the hard drives. You still need to use screws if you're using an SSD, since they're 2.5", but that's tolerable. It's great too that the case has 4 HDD bays. My plan is to eventually put 3 HDDs in RAID 5 for general storage and use an SSD for boot drive and applications. ... show more
