These clamps look really cool. Sadly, their practicality doesn't quite match up. Still, depending on your needs, they're quite handy. The L shapes are solid and accurate and very handy for holding a 90 degree angle. The clamps aren't quite as great. Their usefulness will depend on your project. I'm not sure I'd order these again but I'm glad to have them around.

I ordered these corner clamps to help keep things aligned while securing joints for drawers, shelves, etc. The reviews seemed positive enough and the price was about average. The package arrived quickly and upon opening, everything looked great. A nice red anodized finish on the aluminum parts, nice knurled knobs and threaded angle rods to keep everything tight. While removing the threaded rods I felt a sharp prick in my thumb. When I looked to see what it was, I saw two shards of steel in my thumb. I was able to pull them out with tweezers. The two shards, about 4-5mm in length, are circled in red in one of the attached pictures. Upon careful inspection of the threaded rod, I noticed that the machining process or the finishing process was poorly executed. As you can see in two of the pictures, the rod still contains many small cuttings that are still attached and the thread itself appears to be cut twice. The entire length of the thread is extremely sharp and practically unusable because of the safety issue. I will be reaching out to the seller for an exchange. I will update this profile after my contact with the seller. For now, because of this dangerous issue, I provided an overall rating of one star. I've rated the features based solely on the Accuracy, Ease of use and Sturdiness. Which all rated at five stars.

The clamps do a great job for what they are, 90 degree clamps. They are easy to set up and use, angle seems accurate, no issues at all with the set. I'm a little nervous to over tighten them so I may need to work on that but so far they have done an excellent job. I would buy again.

I like this set. It includes two precision 90 degree aluminum brackets, 4 L shaped threaded clamping necks, 4 jaws, and 4 thumb nuts for tightening. The brackets are 5 1/2 inches from along each long edge, and they offer multiple holes along each leg of the bracket for clamp locations depending upon the thickness of your project. These are small enough to be applicable to the size of most kitchen drawer boxes, but could be used on smaller projects as well. These would not be ideal for large projects like decks, but certainly useful within range of cabinet making assemblies. These are not going to speed up you clamping process, but they will help insure that you are holding your angle right at 90 degrees, as the glue sets up (or while you are installing fasteners). I like that once you clamp these on, you can ensure that that corner angle is not going to move, unlike some other methods of achieving square on box builds that could flex as stresses in the clamping assembly settle out during the time it takes the glue to dry. These can certainly help you avoid that kind of disappointment. There are other options available, but this one is pretty compact and reliable!

The right angles are right angles and won't flex. But, don't buy for the clamping mechanisms. Save your sanity and get some Anvil spring clamps at Depot Casa, they're $1 each.

I've got several one-piece corner clamps that only seem to be usable in about 50% of my projects needing a corner clamp. Something gets in the way preventing the use of the clamp or once the clamp is on, I can't get to where I can attach the fasteners. In those cases I have been falling back to 3d printed squares that function a bit like this set. These however are a big upgrade from my printed set in terms of strength and sharp looks. The 3d printed clamps actually are also right on 90 degrees. Also with my home made squares I have to dig up clamps to work with them that, at times can be a challenge as well. These have their own clams along with the squares so no such issue with these. I often take the path of getting a tool that gets the job done in the moment only to replace it later with one that does the job done better or easier. That's the case here, these are a big step up from the printed squares that were working OK, but these will do the job better and easier - not to mention the red aluminum looks very nice. Highly Recommend
