I recently picked up this Cordless Paint Sprayer Gun that is compatible with Dewalt 20V MAX batteries, and it’s been a fantastic tool for painting a renovated room. My wife and I were both painting - I was using this cordless model outside and my wife was using an identical corded model since she was close to outlets. They are both excellent airless paint guns. They eliminate the need for an air compressor and all the hoses needed for that. It’s so convenient not being tethered to a cord, especially when working outdoors or moving around a lot. The fact that it uses the Dewalt 20V MAX battery system is a huge plus for me since I already own Dewalt adapters for my Makita batteries, and the battery life holds up well. My wife used the corded model and in a single room, she had no problem and no need to change batteries as I did, so each of them have their uses. Both paint sprayers have impressive 32,000 RPM motors, which delivers a smooth, even consistent coat with minimal overspray. It’s called an HVLP (high-volume, low-pressure) sprayer, so it’s efficient with paint, making it easier to control the finish and reduce waste. I’ve used it on drywall with semi-gloss paint and it provides a professional-looking result every time. There is some adjustment to the spray pattern, but not as much as with air paint sprayers, but for home walls, you dont need the same as with painting a car, for instance. I havent tried that, but would test on old parts before the real thing.. Clean-up is relatively simple, though you do need to be thorough to keep the nozzle clear for future use. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit on the heavier side, especially when using it for extended periods, mostly due to the battery. The plug in version was easier for my wife to handle and is cheaper for people who dont have lithium batteries that can be adapted to the Dewalt standard. However, the portability and performance more than make up for it if you do. Air paint guns are lighter, but the air hose really can get in the way, so for indoor projects either the corded or cordless would be my choice. Overall, this cordless paint sprayer has made my painting so much easier and faster, and with a better result than the old roller style and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a high-quality, battery-powered paint sprayer for versatile home and outdoor use. If you dont have the batteries, consider the corded version to save the cost of batteries. Either way you cant go wrong!

This sprayer is very lightweight, which is a good thing given the weight of the battery and the paint, the lighter the better, especially for larger jobs like painting the fence. I've owned many sprayers in my life as a homeowner, the worst are the professional cart style that is large and unwieldy and always seem to need some parts and cleaning them took forever. I have learned over the years that small hand held sprayers are best for homeowners, and in the last few years, I evolved to battery powered ones, which really is all that any homeowner would ever need, This one performed just as well as the corded one I have, and 100 times more user friendly than the professional ones. It is so simple to use, it makes almost no mess. It does seem to drain batteries pretty fast compared to regular power tools, but still not as power hungry as my leaf blower. I would rank the power drain to be on par with Dewalt tire inflator or portable air compressor. The performance of this sprayer is definitely 5-stars, however, it lost a point because of its price. At $48 with coupon, it is still about $10-$15 more than comparable ones on Amazon, which does not pass my value requirement for a 5-star, so I recommend shop around for better deals.

From the way it was packaged which was to throw all the extra pieces inside the paint hopper it screw it to the gun and put those in a box with the motor a copied piece of paper with instructions and a loose brush floating around in the box... It just kind of struck me as these people aren't all that serious about this product so how could I take it seriously. I will say it paints pretty well not the best but it didn't cost an arm and leg either so take the good with the bad. I don't think that I would get this product again though I'll go get something a little more well put together

We soon will have some major paint refreshing to do in our home and the thought of rollers and brushes takings days and maybe weeks gave me pause (for a second or two) before I opted to order this. For those big walls that rise two stories in our family room this looks like a real time and labor saver. Highly recommended

At one time I owned a corded version of this exact paint sprayer. Although I liked it, it was a bit of a hassle having enough cord to paint the project and sometimes I had to use more than one extension cord because the area had only one electrical outlet. Not to mention, I had to be careful not to trip over the cords. I often wished it was cordless and now I’ve gotten my wish! I like how lightweight this sprayer is compared to the corded version. Some of the options I like about it are the 5 nozzles and 3 spray patterns, along with the adjustable flow control. The sprayer uses a 20 volt Dewalt battery. The reason I’m only giving it 4 stars is because it did not come with the necessary battery. I had to purchase it separately. Even so, I REALLY enjoy using it and highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. Very nice spray paint gun especially for the DIY’er. Works with my Dewalt and after market 20V batteries. Comes with 4 different spray nozzles and the paint gun itself can be adjust for how the spray is targeted. The entire tool feels a tad heavy. I plan to use this to spray gun to stain a rather large wrap-around deck.
