I’m using this for the first time since I purchased it, don’t like the fact that I can’t send it back and I can’t use it. I was looking forward to cleaning my car now I’m stuck with a product I can’t use the pad will not stay on the base where the Velcro should be sticking on very disappointing.

    • Great little buffer with good battery life

I decided to purchase a battery-powered buffer, as I was getting tired of stumbling over the cords of my electric buffer. It was a good decision, a battery-powered machine saves time and effort, and is much easier to use. Besides the good price, I liked the included accessories - several buffing pads, and two batteries. I didn't think I would appreciate the gloves, but when I decided to use them, they actually saved a little effort (better grip) and a little mess on my hands. I was able to completely cut, polish, and wax my Camaro, and got a good start on my small SUV before the first battery ran down. I plugged in the charger, and the light on the plug stayed green. I had to unplug and replug the charger back in to the battery, and then the light turned red and it started charging. It seemed to take a couple of hours or so to charge a battery. But overall, I'm very pleased with the battery life. The reason this buffer only received 4 stars, instead of 5, is that the velcro came completely off the pad. I used some heavy-duty super glue to reattach the velcro, and it seems to be holding. I'll need to put a little more glue around the edges. The buffing pads really stick well to the velcro, so it's not too surprising that it comes off. But they could have used better adhesive in the first place. Make sure to have some heavy duty, fast-drying super glue on hand after you buy it. ... show more

Great Polisher, BUT, some Chinese guy on the production didn't apply the correct glue to hold the Velcro pad to the Polisher foam pad. Fell off after the first use and the enclosed Pads were now useless.. Fortunately I had a slip-on pad I could use and then take the thing home to properly use some 3M Contact Adhesive to glue it back on. Works great and this is the second one that I've bought. Gave the 1st one to the new owners of my boat. They loved it. BUT, all it takes is one goof on the line to destroy an otherwise, very good product. Should be Five Stars but that Quality Control on the wrong adhesive, downgraded it to just Three... ... show more

    • Velcro pealed off when removing waxing pad! Now useless!

Beware! The first time I removed the pad for waxing, instead of it separating at the velcro, it pulled the velcro off the disk attached to the machine. With no way to to attach pads, the entire device is now useless. Returning for replacement and if the 2nd one does the same will return for refund. What a shame!!! Update: New unit arrived and I used it for applying McGuires Gold wax to my Ridgeline. One battery did it but start to slow slightly so I inserted the spare. Unit works great but still do not know if it will rip the velcro off of the disk attached to the buffer. I will use it again before removing the waxing pad before Thursday restrung window closes. ... show more

If all you have is a very small vehicle and all you want to do is apply and buff off a very light coat of wax, this will work. The tiny batteries run about 10 minutes at speed 6–which is like speed 1 on my real buffer/polisher. It is quiet. So very slow. Not powerful. Battery life stinks. But is quiet. Last complaint, the Velcro pad holder ripped off with one of the buffer pads… again due to health issue, I didn’t use this until after the return timeframe was up or I woulda returned it. ... show more
