great look and great ride

  • Great Tire for the Money
Size: 225/50R18 95W
The tires now have ~30K mile son them and look hardly worn. I rotate them every 5K miles, which I highly recommend. The only issue I have is during cold mornings, the tires are a bit "stiff" and rides somewhat rough until the tires warm up. Other than that, these work great in any weather and grip nicely for "spirited" driving in my TLX. ... show more

  • So far, exceptional! Great value, great tires
Size: 225/50R17XL 98W
I purchased this set to replace a set of aging Yokohama Avid Envigor on my Maxima. This is the first set of replacement tires I've ever bought that make a noticeable improvement in handling and comfort. The first thing I noticed was that the ride was FAR more comfortable. Handling feels very secure on wet pavement. Confident handling at 70+ highway speeds. Unless you have really odd or aggressive driving habits you can't go wrong for the money (and I paid over 2x as much including installation for my last set locally, than I paid for these tires.) So people ask me "how do you deal with tires you buy from Amazon?" Answer - they come to you stacked in two sets of 2 taped together on your front porch. You roll them to the garage or keep them in your car (they are 25 lbs each.) You take em to your garage and pay to have them mounted. Mounting and balancing will add about $100 to your cost. WELL WORTH IT to avoid the high local prices. And look for Cooper's cash back offer which is regularly renewed. I just received the $100 back on these tires. With the rebate included, these tires are at the same price level as no-name Asian brands with no service network in the US. ... show more

  • Now shopping for my 4th set of these excellent tires.
Size: 225/45R17XL 94W
Quiet, Excellent directional stability. Excellent wear. Great in all but the worst winter storms here in southern Vermont, but better than I hoped they would be!

  • All season wide tire
Size: 305/30R19XL 102W
Decent performance, but the only 305/19 all season I’ve been able to find versus running high performance tires thru 4 seasons. Still reasonably low tread wear but super fast shipping. I did request a forecasted delivery time based on scheduling conflicts that was met but rather delivered very quickly. Might have been an Amazon issue not the mfg. overall worth the money ... show more

  • Old tires
Size: 305/30R19XL 102W
The two tires I ordered arrived on time and in good condition BUT one of them was already 2 years old. Not cool.

  • AMAZING DIFFERENCE
Size: 205/55R16 91W
I"be been an advocate of Cooper tires since I put them on my vintage Oldsmobile and Cadillac. These were for our Toyota Matrix, which sees a great deal of high temperature, high speed highway driving in south central Texas. I spent a bit more money for the RS3-G1 after reading other reviews, and I really glad I did. As a performance tire, it has a stiffer sidewall than its standard counterparts, which translates to more immediate and sharper response from steering inputs. Comparing these to the stock Goodyear Eagle RSA tires: far less road noise, much better handling, noticeably better braking on dry pavement. I haven't had the opportunity to test them on wet roads yet, I recommend this tire to anyone who wants or needs crisp handling from their flivver. I could have saved less than $10 from a mail order offer, but it made sense to stay with Amazon because of the great return and protection policies. ... show more

  • Excellent riding and handling tire, just a little noisy.
Size: 235/50R18 97W
I received the tires faster than I expected, 2 days, which was a pleasant swurprise. I was replacing worn Michelin Energy tires on a new used vehicle I purchased. The front end was out of alignment and that caused the tires to cup around the outside edges so they needed to be replaced. Had the new tires installed and got a 4 wheel alignment. Very smooth riding tires after playing with the pressure. They help the car handle as well with a slightly stiffer sidewall than the Michelins. The reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star as they are noisier than I expected. Not extremely noisy but noisier than the Michelins. Its a luxury car and very quite with a nice sound system. On the highway I can detect the road noise while cruising at highway speeds, more so on some surfces. I just turn the radio up a little higher. Overall a very nice tire and a commendable replacement for the Michelin, even on a luxury car. Just turn up the sound a little more. Maybe if it was a Porsche or Shelby or Camaro where the engine was a little louder it wouldn't matter. ... show more
