I am a long-time CPAP user. I am also predominately a side or stomach sleeper. I can't sleep on my back. I have nightmares about being in a horrible car accident or something and being taken to a hospital. I'll be immobile on my back for a few weeks and the doctors will tell my next of kin, "we can't figure it out. He just died on his back". And my family will say, "that explains it. He died from lack of sleep. He can't sleep on his back." But I digress. The Pillow: I like its shape. If you *do* sleep on your back, it cradles your head and neck nicely. For *me* the pockets on either side are great for side sleeping and kind of stomach sleeping. They make a gap so that the CPAP mask doesn't get pinched when you move your head and then break the CPAP seal. I do like to sleep with my arm under the pillow which messes with it's geometry a little. That's not the pillow's fault. If there was some way to fix that, I would have given 5 stars. But again, that's on me. The geometry of the pillow is nice. I think most people will find a "sweet spot" with this pillow. I even tried using the top of the pillow down, and also flipping it over, and all those configurations could be useful. I recommend! ... show more

The pillow looked like it was described. There is no noticeable odor which I am very thankful for since I am super sensitive. I like the option for side sleeping since I have only been able to sleep on my back since starting to use my CPAP. I am having some difficulty with it being a little flat. I have to keep my head elevated due to Gerd but I’m working on different things to resolve this ... show more

I was hesitant on this pillow but since it had a money back guarnatee in 100 days I thought I would give it a try! This pillow saved my life! I was only wearing my cpap a few hours if at all because I am a side sleeper and I kept having air leakage or "face farts". I have tried so many pillow up to and including a purple pillow like my bed, but this pillow is superior to anything I have used. I am considering getting a 2nd pillow just for traveling!. The pillow works well when sleeping in side. As long as keep mask over either cutout, no problems. Fairly comfortable although did have to put it on another pillow since it is very flat. Not as comfortable when sleeping on my back, but I’m working on that. Overall I’m pleased.

Yes that what this pillow will do if you have a cpap mask the cutouts are placed just right and allow me to sleep on either side. the middle support is great and helps keep me right there when im on my back. If this were to ware out i would by another. I could not get as comfortable with a regular pillow with the mask, this one made all the difference ... show more

I really like the fact that this pillow had "divets" on both sides of the pillow so the mask does not smash into your cheeks. It is a thin pillow - however - I always sleep with my arm/hand under the pillow anyway so it is fine for me. I would not mind if it were a little bit thicker.
