Ordered this for the primary bedroom as we needed something that was a little cooler since the previous blanket we had was a little too "hot" at times. Wow...I am SO glad that we did - this blanket is AMAZING!! Here's why: 1. Arrives in perfect condition and not super wrinkled etc. We put it on the bed immediately and it was very neat and tidy looking...gave the room a whole new look instantly! The only thing I could say at the moment was "WOW!" because I almost forgot this was the same bedroom where the blanket always looked sloppy no matter what we did to it (we even tried ironing it and steaming it to no avail). 2. It's a great size for two people - we have a king Nectar mattress which is not quite California King but larger than a regular king. It's tough to find a blanket that is big enough without someone being shorted a little every night (usually me LOL) This blanket is big enough where you each have plenty of blanket to wrap up and get cozy in, without needing to snatch some back from your spouse in the middle of the night because you are freezing, ha ha 3. Speaking of cozy...OMG. This is literally the most comfortable blanket I have EVER used. I am extremely picky about things like blankets and comforters...we switch them out regularly because of it. But this one is a keeper in a major way. It is buttery soft...extremely soft and just gives you a feeling a comfort from the moment you get under it. I am a person who gets up the moment the alarm goes off...I don't really linger in bed in the morning. But the first night we used this...I did NOT want to get out of bed right away - and I didn't LOL - because I was just THAT comfortable. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is :) 4. Many blankets SAY they are "cooling" but don't quite deliver on that promise. This one does!! It really does not get very hot so that you have to kick the blanket off in the middle of the night. It stays comfortable instead - a good balance of warmth to keep you cozy and wanting to lay in bed, and cool enough to not feel suffocated. It's pretty much a perfect mix. There is no doubt it achieves this with the fabric which is a very breathable nylon - it absorbs your body heat and keeps it on the surface while still regulating everything else, including the room temperature. ***If you suffer from night sweats, are going through hormonal changes/menopause etc or are just a "hot sleeper" - feel free to stop reading now and just order this blanket. I've tried SO many of them and none have delivered the way this one has!*** 5. It is light enough to not be cumbersome, so you can fold it and put it away with ease, and it washes and dries very well and easily. This is a great perk also because...you already know...it's a PAIN to wash blankets etc because they take so long to dry. Not the case here. Saves me an enormous amount of laundry time!! 6. Most other cooling blankets I've seen are...kinda ugly LOL. This one is not - it's got some design flair to it so it makes the room look elevated a little and more polished. It's also incredible easy to make the bed in the morning with this on! 7. You can use it on either side and it works just as well. We did the gray side down the first night...the lighter side up the second. Both were fantastic! 8. Your mileage may vary but this blanket has significantly improved my sleep quality. It's probably because I'm not getting up at 3am because I'm hot or because my wife has stolen the whole blanket, ha ha. This has been the case every night since we have had it. So very happy about that! 9. The construction of it is just as excellent as it's functionality. It's stitched well...the material is high quality...it looks like a premium item you would get in the bedding department of a high end retail store. That makes it even more of a deal because you would definitely pay more than $109 (the price as of this writing) if you bought it in a place like this. And speaking of price... This blanket is a little more expensive than the "typical" cooling blanket but it is more than well worth it - the quality is there, and it actually does what it is supposed to do. This is not a blanket that will last you 3 months and you're off to buy another. It's clear that it is built to last and give you many years worth of comfortable, cozy nights of sleep. Cannot recommend this blanket enough. I absolutely LOVE it. I would rate it 5,000 stars if I could!!

I cannot say enough good things about this cooling blanket / comforter. Sometimes a product comes along that is really cool and worthy of high praise...............for me that does not happen to often, but it did with this awesome blanket. I was not looking for a new blanket or comforter but came across this product as an evaluation option as part of a program I am part of for Amazon. I saw the advertisement and marketing and thought.........why not? let me try it out. The weather is starting to warm up and I can certainly relate to blankets and comforters and pillows that are certainly comfortable but do get hot occasionally. We have all been there..........falling asleep in a certain position wrapped in a blanket just to wake up really hot or even sweating. So when I saw this product i was skeptical but wanted to try it. I am glad I did. This product is awesome. It is extremely comfortable. The material is sleek, light and soft. I don't even have the right words to describe it but its like a normal comforter just thinner, sleeker, more satiny and it keeps a cool to the touch feel. You know that expression "as cool as the other side of the pillow"?.............well this blanket is the other side of the pillow all the time. Not sure how, but it is. The weird thing is that it still keeps you warm, but it does so in a none sticky or overheated way. You are warm yet comfortable. The material is awesome to the touch, it feels great all night, it is smooth and feels great against your skin. It is very light and does in fact stay cool. I'm a big fan of this thing. It seems to be pricey but for my two cents its worth it. I have expensive comforters from "hotel collection" (Macy's) and a couple of Ralph Lauren ones................and they are certainly well made and comfortable, but now that I have this............this is my favorite. I highly recommend this awesome Blanky to anyone! Good Luck and stay cool! OH..........this would also make an awesome gift!!!!!

My husband sleeps hot. Even with the ceiling fan on high and a box fan on medium, he still sleeps hot. The design, softness, functionality and size of this sheet set is top quality. There was no untoward smell when first removed from the packaging. This set washes well in cold water and tumble dried on low. No shrinkage or fading noted. Fits our king size bed perfectly. Even more important, it has helped my hubby sleep cooler - and it is a huge, noticeable difference. Have since ordered a couple more of these sets and have gotten rid of all our older sheet sets. Very happy with this purchase. Excellent value for the money as you cannot put a price on a good night’s sleep.

This cooling blanket does have an interesting cool sensation to the touch. It is lightweight, and has a sheen to it. I have noticed that it does feel cool, but only when you are in direct contact with it. As a blanket on my bed, when using a top sheet, the cooling effect is lost. You need to actually have contact with the blanket itself, and the washing instructions say to line dry, which will make frequent washing difficult. I guess it would be more convenient as a throw than as a bed cover. But overall, it's nice. It's a little on the plain side, and could use more quilting to hold it's shape.
