Bought the gray comforter thinking it was more a medium gray as pictured. But the gray color looks more like a shiny space age silver. I sleep hot so I would say that this comforter is a light to medium weight but it does not stay cool once your under it. Other than the color, I would recommend this comforter as it is made very well.

So, I got this thing as a comforter, but it turns out it can be a duvet insert as well. The versatility just makes it a better value, but I would honestly probably just use it as a comforter. Its super warm, but also incredibly lightweight, and the material is silky soft. I just got this because I needed a comforter, but I honestly want to buy more. I would 100% recommend this product

I am writing an honest review in exchange for participating in the Amazon Vine program. I am pleased that this comforter is beautiful. It also turned out to be the perfect color for my guest bedroom, which is yellows and grays, and my intention in choosing this comforter was mainly for the look. It is a soft, deep, silky gray, just as pictured. It is advertised as lightweight but it has some substance to it. Because of the cool silkiness and smoothness of the fabric and the breathability, it is suitable for warmer weather, but it feels very much like a down comforter which will also be warm and comforting in the cold weather. It has that advantage of being versatile for all the seasons. Because it is bamboo, it is hypoallergenic and perfectly safe. There are no bulges; it goes on the bed smoothy and easily and lays perfectly, with plenty of fabric for each side and foot of the bed. For me, the fact that this is machine washable is very important, although I can't comment on how it stands up in the washing machine since I haven't tried that yet. The manufacturer does recommend washing in cold water and low heat in the dryer. so that's important to know in order to maintain the shape and integrity. Recommend this highly for the color/appearance and size, the smooth feel and the versatility, and overall just a beautiful purchase.

I really like this comforter! First, it is good sized and fit well on my king-sized bed with good overhang on each side. Fabric is smooth and kind of silky. When I first received the comforter, I didn't think it was going to be be all that warm, but I was pleasantly surprised and it is actually does a good job of keeping you warm. I keep my bedroom pretty cool, but with this and a blanket, it is no problem. It wasn't too difficult to wash. I have washed it twice now, and noticed the filling starting to bunch up a little bit in the squares. I like the little details like the corner pockets or tabs sewn onto the comforter. However I did find some of the stitching a but sloppy, or excess strings that needed trimmed. Overall a great comforter, that I am greatly enjoying. I am bit concerned about the longevity of the filling, as well as the stitching on the squares, but time will tell. Right now, I am really pleased.
