When arriving at the airport we really felt like the airline was making any excuse to force you to check in your bag and trying to make everyone check in their bags (reason unknown). During the check in, the airline was really trying to force everyone to check in their bags and did make bags fall in to the size test frame crooked to try and say the bag was too large. But this bag just fell straight in, so they really could not claim it was too big. Light weight, frame good. Really recommend. The pipes holding the retractable handle do protrude into the bag, taking some space inside the bag. But I went to many stores trying to find a bag that did not do that (to save space) but was unable to fine one. So this seems to be the norm. ... show more

I first bought this suitcase as a 24’ inch thinking that it would be the same size than the one I had when I came to the US 10 months ago. Unfortunately, it was way smaller, so I sent it back and ordered the 28'inch even if I was scared that the airlines company would consider it as too big (I will travel with American Arilines and British Airways, and they have a different size policy ). However, I just compared it to my old one and these are the exact same size, so it is just perfect ! The material doesn’t look cheap and it seems very resistant. It did get scratches and a few dented places from 4 flights. We shall see. My last suitcase lasted 25 years. Countless flights. The wheel was broken off from a flight or would still be going strong. I was forced to purchase a new one.
