I guess because of the fabric (my first time buying this beautifu padded fabric) the stretch isnt as great. I should've bought a size bigger as it is comfortable everywhere except it doesn't cover my stomach all the way while my own 3x clothes do and this is a 4x. Other than that it looks great. It doesn't add much to the length of the hoodie, but affords a little more comfort in the overall size. Bought this for my husband and he loves it. He had me order more after this one. The fabric is comfortable, stretchy, hasn't torn up in the washer. I recommend it being hung up to be dried. The thickness is just right to wear underneath lighter weight clothes for the colder days.
