i hope to collect this shoe in every color, so keep on making them Converse! They are so flattering, they look really pretty on the leg, very feminine for an uber-casual shoe. I wear them with maxi skirts, tennis length skirts, pencil skirts for a retro look, dresses, capris, these shoes can be worn with everything. One great thing about them: if you have issues with your ankles swelling due to pregnancy or other health reasons, this is the shoe for you! In fact they are so well designed they are my go-to shoe when I am having days of swelling in my feet and ankles (cancer survivor here). The shoes almost disguise any swelling, which is a miracle. They are also one of the few shoes I can comfortably wear without socks, the canvas is so breathable. A spritz of spray cleaner and a paper towel keeps the soles white like new. I have them in light pink, gray, and black, and am not stopping there, I plan on getting navy blue and red next. I think this shoe will be just as much of a mainstay as the rest of the classic Chuck Taylor's. And of course no matter what you are wearing, from a wedding dress to a bikini, and at any age, you are signaling that you are cool in your Chucks!

I'm usually an 8 or 8.5 but with converse from my normal pair the 8 was a little big. So buying these with the type of back they have I wasnt sure if it would fit the same so I ordered an 8. They are a little big. Still wearable but I ordered a different color in 7.5 and they fit a slight better. So ultimately I'd order down a half size. They are super cute and the back feels comfortable.

Update: I received my new (replacement) pair of chucks and they are perfect. For me a half size down is perfect. With these i love that they are meant not to be tied. So cute! I wore them all day at work and they were pretty comfy. I wore little bootie socks that I’d wear with flats, but next time I’ll wear something that covers the top of my foot more. The fabric rubbed in one spot of my foot but no big deal. They’re tennies...they should be worn with a form of a sock. Good price and good shoe. I couldn’t find this cheaper anywhere....and I’ve looked. Excuse me while I order other colors now. ————————- I’ve been wanting my first chucks for so long and this was a great price so I ordered my usual 7. The moment I opened them I tried them on and it looked like I had clown shoes on. These definitely run big. I’d go down either a half or whole size. If I can find kid sizes with cheap prices I’ll buy them instead since I know how they fit after trying them on in the store. (Benefit to having smaller feet😉) I will update my review once I get the new pair and wear them to see how comfy they are. I hope a half size smaller is enough because I hate this back-n-forth stuff. I just wonder if the adult shoes are heavier than the kids sizes. They are a heavy wheel.

I love these shoes. I wear them with jeans, shorts, yoga pants, shirt dresses, etc. This is my third pair. I love the slip on style, and get complements nearly everytime I wear them. Cute, fashionable, and my favorite style of Converse sneakers.
