These shoes are really great. The insole is super soft and comfortable. The treads are sticky and not like normal Converse. There is a softer lining in the shoe so the canvas won’t rub on your foot directly. However, I found the sides did rub my ankles a bit so I ended up wearing socks. But over time, I imagine the sides will soften up. I normally wear an 8M, but got 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. Great shoe. Great price. Super cute. Get them :) ... show more

These are very comfortable. I've never liked the feel of the original Chuck Taylors as they felt like I was walking on cardboard. The soles on the original style are too thin & flat for me. These platform Converse are way more comfortable. They actually have some support in the footbed. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2. I went with the 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly with a normal weight sport sock. ... show more

Ugh. These shoes have literally saved my life. After having a baby none of my shoes seem to be comfortable anymore. It's not that they're too small, but the soles feel like solid cement leaving my feet screaming at the end of the day. My family decided to take a trip north where we planned on doing some hiking through Glacier so I decided to get me a pair of these and I have literally worn them every day since and they are still as comfortable now as they were the first time I put them on. I used to wear standard flat converse to my job everyday and I was suffering so much pain everyday from them. I tried these shoes, because they were supposedly made for hiking and they also have that style of converse that I love. Safe to say the pain is gone now, I love these shoes so much! They make me a bit taller, they feel really easy to walk in - light weight and they go with so many outfits! If you are thinking about getting these just do it, I was hesitant because of the style of them but I ended up loving them so much :) 10/10 ... show more

I saw these platforms on a male reality TV celeb this season, in white, and had to have them.. I got the peach. They are exactly that, peach. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 Wide Women's. I got these in a 9 Men/10 1/2 Women and prayed they'd be wide enough in the toe box because my memories of unisex Converse were that they were a little narrow.. Not these, they have plenty of toe box room and even enough heel room that I can wear sport socks or Bombas socks with them. Yay! Also they look heavy and huge out of the box, but as soon as you put them on they look normal sized and really cool on your feet. The best part is how on trend they are for the summer. I ordered a pair of peach colored wide leg jeans from Old Navy to wear with them and I am going to look so fly dropping my kid off at graduate school at Ohio State. I can't wait! I got these in a great sale and had shopped around for Doc Martens and similar chunky boot looks to go with wide leg jeans, but these just made way more sense for the summer and were a great value for the money. Update: I'm still loving them. My mom loves them. My husband loves them and wanted some of his own because I'm taller than him in mine. I bought these in black for my husband for his birthday and he's over the moon excited wearing them. The middle school students he teaches think he's the Professor of Cool wearing them. I didn’t expect these converse to be so comfortable, considering their usual chucks are very flat. These have a lot of cushion inside! Despite the platform style, these are not very heavy shoes to wear, which makes them even more comfortable. My only complaint, as it is with all converse shoes, is they’re slightly narrow. However, they’re not so narrow that I can’t wear them. I can sometimes be in between sizes 7 and 7.5, but I got the 7 and I’m satisfied. ... show more
