Although the debate about hightop vs. "regular" shoes has advocates on both sides, I find that the lightweight, old school feel of Chuck Taylors works extremely well for me, keeping the ankle that was twisted in an accident a few months ago stable and comfortable.

These kicks are nice and look just like the picture. They're not the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, but they are comfortable enough. I ordered a half size smaller, but could have ordered another half size smaller. I'm still very pleased.

I had the waterproof version of these but with summer coming around they were getting to hot. I was worried about the width on these considering they wouldn't have the insert. But they were perfect. Completely happy with my purchase and only regret not ordering them sooner.

High quality, super comfy and easy to wash. My sons have these in all colors including white, and when they get dirty, I just throw them in the washer and then dry them in the sun with tongue out. They consistently return to whitest white!

For such an iconic sneaker, such as the Chuck Taylor low top, you probably have a good idea what to expect. Overall I was very pleased with this product. I have owned several pairs of Chuck Taylor (high and low top) shoes over the course of my life and I am always coming back. If you know your size then the shoe should fit great. My favorite part about the low top shoe is that it really does go with anything. This shoe can be worn for a number of functions as well. I personally wear mine as a casual and comfy shoe that looks good with any outfit. I have seen others wear this shoe in situations ranging from weddings to basketball games and anything in between. It all just depends on what you like. The shoe comes in a huge variety of colors as well so you can always have options. I think one of the biggest selling points of this shoe is the fact that it has a very affordable price. When most shoes cost around $100 the Chuck Taylor All Star costs about $50. The only negative things that I have seen with these shoes are their lifetime and comfort. The shoe is not designed to last forever and after about a solid year of use they begin to deteriorate. In regards to comfort, the shoe does not offer much arch support. If you are looking for a super supportive and padded insole in a shoe then Chuck Taylor's are probably not your best bet. Overall, the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe is one of my favorites. Its classic look and feel as well as the variety of colors and affordable price sets it apart from many others. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone that wants to look good at an affordable price. In regards to the delivery and service of Amazon, I am still a huge fan. Free two-day shipping always comes on time and I have never had a bad experience with their service.
