chucks are skinny, longer, and tend to run a size large. I usually wear 7.5 mens, and in THIS STYLE of chucks, I tend to wear a mens 6. Other styles are different. and they usually wear in comfortably. they have no arch support, no got good for running. But good for squats. they are good shoes, reasonably prices, for my purposes.

Got my shipment in 3 days they are perfect. I wear an 8 in women's the 6.5 mens/7.5 women's were available so I gave it a shot and I actually had a good amount of room so they do run larger in size. The color is exactly what I wanted I love them, they were pricey compared to more neutral and darker colors but I was willing to pay the difference.

These fit large, and as per Converse, you'll definitely need at least a half size smaller. I wear size 11 and in these I wear size 10.5 ALTHOUGH a size 10 might have been even better. So a half or full size smaller than usual would be best. They're very comfortable, allow great breathing for my feet, and good support. I bought them to lift weights in and ended up wearing them most days in addition. Good shoes! They seem built very well.

Chucks are as Chucks do, right? No surprises here! I've been wearing Chucks for over a decade now, and use them generally as a good flat platform for weightlifting, and a good compliment to jeans on a casual night out, for which these work great! If you don't know what you're getting in Chucks, well, they're durable, simple shoes with very limited padding and no arch support, that look pretty good. For non-Olympic style weightlifting, particularly deadlifts, where you want the flattest base possible, with minimal amounts of flex and cushioning, these work great. Unless you go to purpose-built lifting shoes, you won't find many shoes that are flatter, and with less give in the soles (which are flexible, but don't compress much). Unfortunately, these qualities also mean that my Chucks aren't the most comfortable shoes to spend an entire day in, and I generally find that if I'm doing a lot of walking around over the course of a day, my feet ache a little for a different pair of tennis shoes. Still, for a casual night out, these are perfect! That being said, if you’re getting Chucks, you probably know what you’re getting into, and in that case these are as you’ve pretty much always known them! Pros: Good price Durable construction About as good and iconic as casual shoes get Flat, stable sole with minimal compression makes for a relatively good lifting shoe Cons: Not particularly well padded or comfortable for all day wear Lack of heel lift limits use for some weight lifting styles

Nice shoe. A little big (I got the women 8/ men 6). The measuring instruction said to measure your actual foot by standing on a piece of paper and marking where the end of your big toe is and also marking where your heel ends. I got 9 1/2 inches which translated to an 8 women/ 6 men. I suggest sizing DOWN half a size after you take your actual foot measurement.

We purchased 8 pairs of these for our wedding for the groom and groomsmen to wear. All arrived quickly and fit perfectly. The guys were stoked to wear these instead of stuffy old dress shoes, and they looked great with the charcoal gray tuxes. Another wedding was going on at the same time at our venue, and the groom and groomsmen of that wedding said they were jealous that they didn't get to wear these! The best part is, the guys all have a classic pair of chucks to wear in daily life now. My husband pretty much lives in his, and I want a pair for myself.
