  • Second purchase of Continental tire..
Tire lasted twice as long as Dunlap original tires. Tracked well on wet roads.

  • best value for a tire IMHO
I ride an SV1000, and I've had Michelin Pilot Powers, pilot sport, Dunlop 220's, Dunlop Sportmax, Bridgestone BT-21 and BT-23, and Pirelli Diablo Strada, and finally the Conti Motion tire (on my second set of these now). I've liked most of the tires I've put on this bike, but the Conti Motion beats them all in shear value. I'm getting around 4000 miles for the rear Conti, and double that for the front. I commute weekdays and get into the canyons on weekends. Never had a problem with grip, and these have been taken knee-down in the canyons. ... show more

  • As Good as Stock but Problems Down the Road
As stated in the title this tire is as good as stock and a whole lot cheaper. It does what I expect of it, good wear and handling. Update 6-19-13: I have had these installed for several months. They are showing very little wear. I took a 700 mile trip two weeks ago and a problem started to become apparent. A shimmy in the front end felt through the handlebars and gets worse as you slow down. I stopped at a Suzuki dealer and had them adjust the steering stem bearings to spec. I was disappointed to find that the shimmy still exists. Once at home I decided to put the SV1000 on the bike stands. Spinning the front wheel by hand revealed a deformity in the tire. The side wall is visibly out of true. Spinning the rear wheel, also a Contimotion 180/55-17, the same type of deformity is apparent. I tried re-seating the beads and this had no beneficial effect. ... show more

  • good radials for cheap
I've been running these for years on a few bikes.I like the performance & mileage they give for the price. this is the best price I've ever have found after much price shopping. UPDATE- just found these locally $11 cheaper @ Iron Pony (Columbus,Oh) but shipping might kill that deal.

  • good street grip
Tires lasted for quite a while, good street grip, would buy again if I could find them decently priced, but popularity jumped the prices up.

  • Mean tire
Continental is a quality brand. I get good traction and high mileage, what more could want? Amazon had it at a good price, You need the best when you only have two wheels. It is recommended.

  • continental tires
These tires look great on my suzuki gsxr 600. The price was right and if these tires last the abuse they are going to get this summer - i will more than likely buy from you again.
