This is a great cheap option. It does feel thin, but it’s not for airplane travel. It’s for local compliance laws. Great case. It is light and portable. Fits an AR and two additional pistols with no problem. Holds securely with the aid of locks, keeping everything inside protected. Reasonable price without the excessive bulk of other cases. Easy for transportation.

    • the best flag case I have ever bought
this is exactly what I was looking for! I wouldn't carry a gun in it, though. it's kind of flimsy and with one lock on it, a seven year old could get a gun out in about ten seconds. with two locks on it, a determined seven year old could peel that open right quick. the latches are a little hard to manage, because they flip inside the case while you're trying to close them. it's lightweight and unencumbered by any silly gasketing that would keep water out. I wouldn't trust it for carrying any firearm, but it is perfect for the purpose I bought it for, which was to carry my semaphore flags. semaphore flags fit in there quite nicely and the foam holds them snugly. if you need to go to an event where for some reason you need a locking container for your semaphore flags, this box is a great value and looks snazzy. ... show more

Likes: Extremely well priced, fits a 38.5" rifle perfectly with 1.5" to spare on buttstock and muzzle ends. Case is lightweight and feels comfortable to carry. Has 4 padlock holes, one on each side of the carrying handle and one on each corner. Dislikes: despite being a hard plastic case, its a thin hard plastic so it has some flexibility when open. The padlock holes near the carrying handle are really inconveniently placed so its hard to use a standard sized padlock. The two on the end however I found it best if looping lock from the bottom up so when locked the keyhole on lock faces you looking down. Once the lock is closed, you cannot rotate it due to clearance. The foam inserts are too skinny...1.75" thick for top and bottom and fall out of place because there's nothing holding it in, due to it not being that thick, it will NOT hold a near 7lb rifle in place. Recommend buying pull to fit foam 2" thick, inside dimensions are 41.5"L x 9.5"W. I bought a 2" thick sheet of pluck foam from foambymail.com and i noticed the 2 current foam pieces in the case lock i to each other to make it the top foam piece for the lid, therefore i only had to buy a piece big enough to custom fit the bottom. All i all, nice case, four fair and solid feeling clasps, ok on padlock holes and extremely good on price. ... show more

I bought 1 and made sure my AR fit and then made sure that my Boss 25 tactical 12gauge fit in it also which it did so I bought another and both work and fit like they were made for them. I’m very happy with quality and durability. Would definitely recommend
