  • PCOS and pregnant
Style: Women 60 Count
UPDATE: I am now 5 1/2 months in my pregnancy and I took this product my entire first trimester , as the bottle states. I was also given the confirmation by my doctor, whom loved the ingredients and found them to be much better than prescribed prenatal pills. There are many reviews that I see saying they do not work, but they do if you use them correctly and give it time. Obviously people take it due to fertility issues, but every person does not know their underlying issues that are contributing to them having fertility problems. So you can’t have insulin resistance or blocked tubes and expect this product to perform a miracle on you, there is more work that needs to be done. DO YOUR RESEARCH and have your bloodwork done to rule everything out before looking to use this product looking for a miracle. It is very unfair to say it doesn’t work and bash them when the buyer doesn’t even know everything that is wrong with them or given it enough time to get into their system. Of this changed your cycle, it’s because your body is trying to correct itself, but many are unaware of that as well. READ upon how supplements work if you’re going to use them, but don’t bash and blame the company when you too play a part in the outcome. I am a woman who was diagnosed with PCOS at 17. Was told I would not be able to get pregnant without medical assistance. I found Conception just randomly on Amazon one day, read the reviews and decided to try it. I’ve been trying for years and never have been able to get pregnant. I was on my second bottle when I got my positive test. My husband made me test, because I completely overlooked all of my early pregnancy symptoms due to me having the same symptoms at times when my cycle is about to start. But this time my cycle never started, only spotted a few days here and there. I would say add this to your regimen if you are struggling. I was just being setup to see a Fertility doctor and Endocrinologist and now I no longer even need to go that route. I added this to what I was already taking to help me, royal Jelly 1000mg twice a day, Neoq10 twice a day, Liquid folate once a day, prepprep twice a day, cassavum twice a day, Cod liver oil pill once a day for omega 3.Wheatgrass shots 3 times a week, bone broth daily, Acupuncture , and superfood supplements, Glucosmart to help control insulin resistance, daily probiotic by ultimate flora, and intestinal formula by Dr Schulze to keep my body free of toxins while on this journey. I cut out a lot of processed foods from my diet to help me with the process, ate only seafood and no soda with tons of alkaline water. It sounds like a lot, but when you do it daily it becomes a lifestyle and then you don’t notice. Unfortunately us women with PCOS have to go through tremendous hoops to get our bodies to work right, but I am here to let the others know that it is possible for us to conceive NATURALLY with a few changes. I have my second doctors appointment Friday and will update along the way ☺️ ... show more

  • Miscarriage. NOT worth the risk!
Style: Women 60 Count
UPDATE: It seems the company has added a few more sentences to their instructions. I can definitely say they were not there when I purchased the product. I also just checked the bottle I still have and nothing there either. They are, "This product works best for women with irregular cycles and requiring hormonal support. Consult your healthcare professional for women with regular cycles before using this product." It seems this is their way to address the many negative reviews that touch on this. Unfortunately, they still have in there to continue taking the pills through the first trimester. Since these are not FDA approved and contain powerful herbs this statement should be completely removed. There also is no proof that this product is "best" for women with irregular cycles. And ALL supplements, especially ones taken DURING pregnancy should be consulted with a healthcare professional, not just women with regular cycles. Read on if you'd like to hear my story. I got pregnant the first month of taking these. We had just started trying the month before, so not long - I just wanted to boost conception. I have regular periods but noticed I was ovulating later in my cycle. When we went for our 8 week ultrasound we were devastated to learn that our baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks. No heartbeat. I had all the pregnancy symptoms still up until that point so it was a complete surprise. My body has yet to expel anything so I will need to undergo a D & C. I would not wish this feeling on anyone. My skin also broke out like crazy through the pregnancy. I have seen other reviews mention horrible breakouts while taking these. I have absolutely no idea if these vitamins played any role in the miscarriage. Miscarriages are common and the majority of people taking these vitamins might already have fertility/miscarriage issues to begin with. There is no way to find out for sure. I can say that I will try everything I can to have a different outcome next time. Update** I’ve just had my 2week post op follow up with my dr. I asked her what she thought about these prenatals, and because I believe everyone needs to be informed about what they put into their bodies, this is what she said... 1. There is no where near enough iron to meet the requirement of a pregnancy 2. She highly recommended against taking them because of the herbal blend. She especially pointed out the Chaste Tree Berry (Vitex) as it being a very powerful herb and there is no telling how each woman’s cycle and system would respond. 3. Stinging Nettle should be avoided in pregnancy as should Ashwagandha. 3. Most herbs (including ones in this formulation) should be stopped immediately upon first learning of a pregnancy. Unfortunately, there don’t exist any real trials on using herbs on pregnant women because it is too risky. So this prenatal I have no doubt has helped many to become pregnant, but on the other side it may also be too risky to take to carry on a healthy pregnancy. There might be something to them creating non viable pregnancies. This really needs to be looked into. After my miscarriage, focusing on a future healthy pregnancy is much more important to me than any urgency to simply becoming pregnant. Latest Update: I am currently 10 weeks pregnant. This baby has been closely monitored because of our previous miscarriage. I am happy to report everything looks great! Healthy heartbeat and growth every week. We got to see our baby moving on an ultrasound yesterday. I’ve been using prenatal vitamins recommended and prescribed by my doctor. Be careful with herbs!!! ... show more
