Needed something for my microwave in my large TV room in the basement. All of the rolling carts were much more expensive & required difficult assembly. This was so easy to set up is sturdy & looks nice. Using the side pocket for paper plates & napkin storage.

I have three other desks that are made similar to this one, but this desk is my favorite out of the three. Even as simple as it is, it's got a solid, sturdy build. You can easily fit a printer or pc cart underneath, or even a file cabinet, so it's easy to accessorize. I think for the price you really can't go wrong with this desk if you are just looking for a simple work surface or one that you can add things to yourself, like pegboards and hooks. It comes with everything you need to put it together, and assembly is very simple. It took me no more than twenty minutes. Even with the smaller size desk surface I have enough space for my laptop, and a large graphics tablet, so for me it is working out perfectly.

Assembly takes about 15 minutes. The base is metal construction that has a nice open look and feel. The top has a laminated top with a simulated woodgrain texture. The side storage is securely held in place with two machined screw/bolts. Large enough for folders, electronics, office supplies. This can easily be disassembled for transport and unlike all fiberboard construction units this won't effect strength of the desk. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 would be the fact that it has a woodgrain texture on the surface making writing/drawing directly on the top difficult.

I currently work on a dinner table that is so old, the top is no longer attached to the bottom that holds it!! Its a designer table an old friend made for me so giving it up was difficult. Then I saw this work desk offered for a very reasonable price and I ordered it. It took me less than an hour to put it together, the directions were very clear and all parts were included. I followed exactly as it showed and in no time I had this beautiful, very sturdy desk. It's white, so I worry a little about making stains, scratches or ruining the pretty top so I've ordered a desk pad to cover the areas I may mess up. But what I love about it is it's so strong, well made and has little bonuses. One bonus on the left side is a hanging basket for you to put items like folders etc. in. You can easily place 8x11 items in there. On the right side of the desk is a hook to hang headphones or other items on. I love that it is high enough that if I want to put a walking pad underneath and exercise while I'm working, I can. I'm really happy with the desk and feel it will serve me well for many years to come. I recommend this desk highly.

Don’t let the small footprint fool you. This desk may be little, but its practicality is big. It is very sturdy thanks to the metal frame with braces at the bottom of each set of side legs. The is very durable with a laminated waterproof finish. It is easy to clean, and won’t easily stain or show dirt. There is a very handy pocket that is mounted on the right hand side, but could go on the other side if that suits your needs better. On the opposite side there is a heavy duty hook that can be used for headphones, a bag, etc. The pocket can easily hold writing materials, books or office supplies. Since it is lightweight, it is easy to move to wherever you need it. I use mine for a writing desk most of the time, but have also used it as a small work table. This desk is a very comfortable height, and at 32 inches wide by nearly 20 inches deep is just the right size for a small quiet study corner.

I have an office in my basement, but occasionally do work upstairs. And this desk was perfect for that. It takes up minimal space but has plenty room for my laptop, drink and notebook. Easy to assemble and made of nice material so it looks good in my living room. Has a little storage sleeve thing that I use to hide my laptop charger and scissors.
