First one failed within 12 hours of usage. Second one sent was the wrong item in the box. Box was labeled with the right model, and hte sticker on the unit had the right model. But it was a totally different model. Had the wrong clutch plate, wrong power fitting (male instead of female), similar bolt layout but wrong. Third one had the same problem as the second. Contacted UAC and they said they encountered this before, I guess mislabeled items going out. So far, not impressed. ... show more

They didn't send me the one in the picture and it was listed for my vehicle. I ended up getting the lower cost one on Amazon and it worked fine. I was going with this one for reviews.

You can find rebuilds for considerably cheaper but this is a good price for a brand new compressor. Seemed to be very high quality. Many rebuilt compressors either don't work when you get them, or don't last.

Worked great for about 6 months and now it has a loud bearing type noise coming from the clutch. It is still working for now but that's the reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1.

    • EXACT OEM PLUG AND COMPRESSOR!!!!
CAR-MAZDA 3-2005-M/T-2.3L So far so good my car is finally blowing cold AC and when I bought the car it never had the air conditioner system up and running but thankfully now I am no longer drenched in sweat because of the Heat. The compressor went on perfectly I did not have to do any adjustments whatsoever it was literally just swapping the compressors the plug was the exact same one has the OEM version and it's working flawlessly still after a month ... show more

I bought the product through Amazon and when my mechanic went to install it, we found that the part is not compatible with the Mazda3 as it is too big compared to the older one. Amazon absolutely useless in refunding me the the money. Do not buy!

AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR DIDN'T LAST 5 MINUTES WITHOUT BEING FROZEN UP. THIS IS THE SECOND ATTEMPT FIRST ONE THEY SENT THE WRONG COMPRESSOR AND THE SECOND ONE THE COMPRESSOR WAS NO GOOD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
