Replaced the oem compressor on my 2008 Honda Fit. Old compressor blew a seal behind the front pulley/clutch at 265K miles. Borrowed a vac pump and gauges from my brother and made the swap myself. It comes out the bottom of the car, so a little aggravating on ramps. About 3 hours total labor with 2 of that wrestling with the alternator and belt on/off. (no spring tension idler). Only one wire plug and 4 bolts for the compressor itself. An hour on the vac pump and then added freon. 58 deg at idle and 43 at cruise rpm in 95+ temps. Don't forget the O ring line seals (not included) and a bottle of Pag 46 oil. You dump the oil it's shipped with and replace with an exact amount. Saved myself over $500 with my home repair! ... show more

4 years and over 100,000 miles later, this little compressoros still going strong. I bought this compressor for my 2007 Honda Fit (commuter car) in 2019 and have had no issues. I drive 105 miles a day and have put over 100,000 miles on my car since installing this compressor. It still keeps my car cool in the harsh Texas sun, I definitely recommend this brand. ... show more

FIts like the original Honda 2008 Fit model. Still working after 3 months. My car has 225k on it so I did not want to spring for a factory model, and the price for this was great.

Bought this compressor for my 07 Honda Fit, thought to myself why spend more money at a nearby auto store when I could get it cheaper on Amazon. Well, here you go. After a month of installing it, the compressor seized up. I Install it how its recommended by the manufacturer and with my experience in acs it seem legit. Tried to get a replacement due to the fact that I only had it for a month. It's going on 3 months and still no response. Contacted the manufacturer directly and told me sorry but since i bought it through Amazon i had to deal with them. So story short DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

    • Good compressor but not for Mexican Hondas
This compressor is elegible for shipping to Mexico and is an excellent value for the price, but it is not the correct replacement for 2007-2008 Honda Fits sold originally in Mexico. Mexican Honda Fits, at least through 2008 were made in Brazil and are South American specification, this compressor is North American spec.     • Only lasted 2 years, OEM made it to 10 years .
I bought this Compressor 2 years 2 months ago and that's all it lasted. It's dead today . Just bought the same one for replacement, this new one better last me at least 3 years so I can give them 3 stars. 1 star per year fair enough? My OEM Condenser lasted over 10 years.
