1995 Ford F150 5.8. UAC compress. It's either the UAC compress or the UAC hose assembly but you can't attach the hight side switch to the hose assembly. I've read other post people have to grind away metal from the ac compressor. Will update after install.

    • Perfect fit on my '93 Ford F-250 7.5L pick-up truck.
I did the R12 to R134a conversion after my old compressor literally fell apart. I bought this compressor because it was much more affordable than any local parts stores and it looks identical to the OEM/Motorcrap compressor. It came pre filled with PAG oil and was easy to install. After I finished installing the rest of the retrofit parts and flushing the hoses and condenser, I filled the system up with R134a and got a reading of 36°F coming out of the vents while just idling in my driveway. So far so good, I’m a professional mechanic and do a lot of AC work. Normally I always try to install OE parts, but my personal vehicle needed a compressor so I figured I’d give it a try. Time will tell how long it will hold up. But so far I’d recommend it.

I had the new compressor on for just over 30 days. Tried using it 1 time when it finally warmed up enough outside to use the A/C. Compressor locked up. They won't warranty their product. I will never buy another one from them.
