My daily/beater car is an ‘03 Hyundai Elantra and ever since I got my hands on this car from an old customer, the ac never worked due to a leaking seal in the AC compressor. Replaced the factory A/C in my 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback with this UAC model. It's been 10 days now and so far so good. Cooling is equivalent to original A/C and mechanic did not report any fitment issues. I have added pictures for the new UAC unit that was installed and the original Halla Climate Control (HCC) unit that was removed. The UAC unit is manufactured in China and the box and sticker on the unit say "NEW", not sure if that is the manufacturer's name or not. Most US brand name products are produced at manufacturing units in other countries, so this does not worry me. I had called UAC about warranty terms before purchasing and they said the warranty is determined and handled by Amazon. When I called Amazon they confirmed this and added that warranty on this unit is 12 months. I will add a post-summer update on how the unit performed during the hottest days. ... show more

The compressor just failed on me I tried contacting you AC corporate I left them my information on email and no one has gotten back to me I'm still within the one-year warranty on this compressor
