The quality of this symmetrical skateboard is decent, it looks cool and is easy to setup. Note, to make this review as concise as possible I have split it into sections with a header for each. • Quality I looked this skateboard over carefully and the quality seems decent to me. The 7 layer maple deck looks good and feels strong. The paint job looks perfect. The black grip tape on the top of the deck is tremendously grippy. The symmetry of the skateboard looks just like it should for a symmetrical skateboard (it looks exactly the same from either direction). The wheels are nice low profile PU wheels that have built in lights that illuminate when the wheels are spun. As for the bearings for the wheels, they seem fine; the wheels spin with what I would consider a normal amount of resistance (by the way, two spare bearings are included with this board). Lastly the trucks for this skateboard seem adequate but they do need to be adjusted before use. • Style This is a cool looking skateboard. The checkerboard pattern on the bottom is classic, the double warped design looks great and the black grip tape on the top is super black and also adds to the aesthetics. Lastly the motion activated lights in the wheels are a fun bonus. • Easy to setup This skateboard is relatively easy to setup. Included with this skateboard is a “skate tool” which is a “T” shaped wrench with three sockets (3/8”, 1/2”, 9/16”) and a separate mini screwdriver which is all that is needed to remove, install and adjust the trucks and wheels for the board. To setup this skateboard all you do is (1) remove the shrink-wrap plastic from the board, (2) loosen the king nut of each truck and rotate the bushings so the trucks are parallel to their mounting plate and the bottom of the board and then re-tighten the king nut, (3) loosen the four screws that go through the board and the baseplate into the four locknuts (using the included skate tool and screw driver) and twist the trucks so that the wheels are perfectly parallel to the edge of the board (so it goes straight) and then re-tighten. Now it is ready for a test ride. • Adjusting the ride The next thing to do to is adjust tightness of the trucks so they will respond the correct amount to your weight and riding style. For anyone who is new to skateboarding, adjusting the tightness of the trucks is extremely easy; all you do is use a skate tool, socket or wrench and tighten or loosen the kingpin nut (the big nut at the bottom center of the trucks) until the board has the correct feel for how you ride (tighten the nuts for more stability and loosen them to allow the board to lean more). You basically just adjust the nut 1/4 of a turn at a time then try the board then repeat until it feels right for you. For how I ride I like the rear truck to lean a very small amount and the front truck to lean slightly more so that the front truck is mainly responsible for steering while the rear is there mainly just to follow (sort of like front wheel steering vs all wheel steering). For anyone who wants more details just Google "adjust the trucks on skateboard" or use the same text to search for videos about it. • Conclusion So that basically covers it and the bottom line for this symmetrical skateboard is the quality is decent, it looks cool and is easy to setup (using the included skate tool and mini screwdriver). This skateboard came packaged well, and it included a tool and 2 spare bearings. It's a beginner's board to be sure, and for a beginner's board, it is excellent. My youngest grandson is 6, and he so desperately wants to be like his older cousins and have his own skateboard and do all the tricks. He was so ecstatic to get this board and his older cousins are now teaching him the basics. He's even thrown stickers all over the bottom of it already. In their opinion, this board is 'solid' for him. They say the board itself is fine. It supports his weight and theirs for that matter. The trucks are pretty standard, and won't stand up to the tricks that they do, but are perfectly fine for teaching the little one. So sturdiness and durability for a 6-year-old, 5 stars. For a 13 or 14-year-old, maybe not so much. The one feature it has that they all thought was cool is the light up wheels. You can't beat this board for looks, performance and quality for a beginner's board.

Ready to ride right out of the box ~ the right board for the right rider makes all the difference here. Graphics reported as "okay" with positive suggestions that personalized graphics and stickers can be added ~ a plus for individualism and creativity. Real-World Testing: Tested across multiple riders from true beginners to avid stunt riders of various ages, abilities, and body sizes. Consensus is clear ~ this board delivers real value for younger and lighter beginner riders while falling short of the demands placed on it by more skilled and experienced athletes. Earned 4-Stars for a starter board and 3-Stars for seasoned riders. LED Light-Up Wheels: Universally loved across every rider tested —~ cool factor is undeniable. Performance reality ~ wheels rode slow even after adjustments. Bearings and wheels are replaceable and at this price point it is evident where technical compromises were made. Deck Performance: 7-ply maple feels solid and confidence-inspiring for beginner riders. More skilled and teenaged riders reported popping sounds during simple flips and spins ~ enough to make experienced riders hesitate before attempting more difficult stunts. Skilled riders with size 11-plus feet appreciated the generous deck dimensions but quickly returned to their own boards out of concern for mid-stunt cracking. Best For: Younger, lighter beginners exploring skateboarding for the first time ~ an excellent entry point at an accessible price point. Not recommended as a primary board for trick riders, heavier athletes, or anyone progressing beyond foundational skills. Bottom Line: A solid beginner investment that delivers on entry-level expectations. Match the board to the rider and it will earn every penny ~ push beyond its intended skill level and it will tell you immediately.

Great beginner skateboard. My son has a really good skateboard he customized and loves, so in him comparing that to this one, it is designed more for a beginner or younger person as the wheels illuminate as the spin, the trucks are much more lose and the deck is a little smaller BUT it's still a great 1st board for someone and does the job.
