The pictures are somewhat misleading, and I'm not too happy about it. While the blaster does look exactly like it does in the picture, (I got the wood stock one. It's fake wood, which I don't mind.) it actually doesn't have the orange tip like it does in the photos. This toy is not safe to take outside if you live in a neighborhood, which is a massive disappointment because outside use is the fun part of using dart blasters. Well, aside from picking up the darts. Otherwise, the gun feels heavy and powerful. I rarely have jams and even when I do, it's easy to unjam. It's very satisfying to have the shells eject. Personally, I didn't buy it for the darts, I bought it for the shell inserting and ejection mechanism because the realism is cool, but I did play around with the darts and I love them. It's such an awesome toy. The durability seems good, it hasn't worn out on me yet and it doesn't feel like it will anytime soon. The gun is perfect size, it's how big I thought the real thing would be. It does come with scatter darts, so if you fire those it'll shoot out 3 tiny darts at once, but unless you're in a very clean area you should avoid shooting them. I shot mine at the ground and they flew around and I only found 1 out of the 3 tiny darts. Whoops. Thankfully it includes extra. My favorite part is that you can actually pump the shotgun even if it's already pumped. I figured it'd be like other dart blasters where if it's already pumped it'll just slide and do nothing, but it seems it releases the pressure and builds it back up (or however it works) when you pump it again. I got this for my son for Christmas. As a family of duck hunters I really wanted him to get used to operating a shotgun and this is it! It works just as it should! Great accuracy too! Shoots pretty far! I appreciate the bullets with the small shot but we don’t use them much because they’re a pain to find. I like the sticky and non sticky bullets for the shells! I never gave him the sights or any of the ammo holders that go on the gun because I wanted him to get used to looking down the barrel. He’s younger than the recommended age limit and he did get his finger bit once while racking it but he learned quick! His shot is right on! And he can load it pretty quickly! It’s durable and has held up all these months with regular use from kids being kids. ... show more
