unreal value for the price, the naysayers are clueless, yes its a slow compass its not 100 friggin dollars... but it works, and you get 2 ways to make a fire with a lense and a small ferro rod, so neat! the Hygrometer and Temperature meter work really good, overall it has around 10-12 functions you CANNOT beat this value and function for something small you can throw in your pocket or backpack. 1 small problem the whistle is tough to push out at first you really need to push it hard with the pin from across it.

The pros are that it is of good quality and made of good materials, it is small and easily fits in a pocket, and the hygrometer and temperature gauges are quite accurate. All of the survival accessories are functional and compact. Cons: Compass card is slow to respond to changes in direction and may be sticking. In terms of accuracy, my sample has a CCW directional error of 10 degrees. The temperature is in Celsius only. I really wanted to like this compass. Perhaps I received a bad sample. At such a low price I may purchase another one.
