This is a lightweight comforter set: I knew that but I didn't order it for warmth. It will be a fine weight in the summer but in winter, you may want to add a blanket for extra warmth. I ordered it to add a nice, neat look to the bed in our guest room. Several colors were offered and I chose the sage green because I wanted a neutral color without going to beige or white. I am happy with the sage green (it's a little subtle) because it will be perfect for any guest we may have. The material feels soft and cool to the touch. I know packaging doesn't affect the product, but I do want to mention that it came packaged very nicely. The comforter was tightly packed with a bow. I am impressed when a manufacturer cares enough about their products to package them nicely. Although it was compressed, instructions were included as to how to fluff it up and it worked just fine. This comforter set is doing exactly what I wanted it to do - my room looks finished and welcoming.

This is a comfy comforter. It is soft, and warm. This is not a heavy comforter, and it really looks great with the Pillow shams. Well made, and it came packaged beautifully. The price is fantastic for a good quality Queen sized comforter.

This comforter is thinner than the one I was hoping to replace. I wanted to get a King size for my Queen bed because it seems we're always fighting over the covers. For that, it meets my expectations. Plenty of comforter to go around. However, this is quite thin feeling and it doesn't feel overly "stuffed" with filling. It did smell when I unpackaged it but the seller acknowledges that and advises you how to deal with that. I followed the directions and the smell did go away. It also fluffed up a tiny bit after being dried. But it still feels thin. The best way I can describe this is by comparing it to a balloon filled about 90% full (my old comforter) versus a balloon filled about 40% full. If you pressed on the 90% full balloon, you'd feel that there was something inside but it would still depress a little. If you pressed on the 40% full balloon, it would feel emptier. That's the difference between this comforter and the one I was hoping to replace. I do like the color and it blends beautifully with my color scheme. Once the evenings get a lot colder here, I don't think this comforter is going to cut it. (I'll update my review if I'm wrong.) But for now, I've taken the stars away for being thin, which feels cheap and inadequate for a comforter.

I'm really glad I waited a few weeks before reviewing this one. My initial reaction was that the comforter was rather thin, not as soft as I'd expected, and kind of disappointing. (That being said, I didn't follow the instructions to fluff it up in the dryer, so I was also taking my disappointment with a grain of salt.) After several weeks of use, I have changed my mind. The comforter managed to fluff itself up to an adequate loft, and the texture grew on me. The underside of the blue (which is a somewhat lighter color and more heathered than shown in the product photos) was always nice, but the outside was a bit... not rough, exactly; just less soft and inviting than I was hoping for and expecting. After several weeks of sitting on top of it (in addition to sleeping under it), it has softened up considerably and I quite like it. As far as warmth goes - it's great. It's lightweight, so if you're looking for something you can feel the weight of, this isn't it, but if you looking for decent warmth without feeling like you're being smothered, this is a good choice.

This is a light, cool set and does not feel like the typical thick microfiber. I like it a lot because it does not allow you to feel overly hot. I have an electric blanket that I use with this and it seems to balance the warmth out with the thin coolness of the comforter and pillow material. I would not describe it as microfiber unless I just am uneducated completely on the science behind microfiber. I really like it though.

This material is amazingly soft and feels durable. I love sleeping with this comforter because the texture is super soothing. I got the Sage Green color and love how it looks! The comforter comes vacuum packed and they say to throw it in the dryer to puff it up but I just put it on the bed right away because I'm inpatient. I am happy with its level of fluff. If anything, it is fluffier than I thought it would be from other reviews. It is not super thick but it is warm and falls nicely. I would absolutely recommend this comforter.
