Purple and black are my favorite colors and when I saw this purple comforter in a panne sort of purple velvet, I had to have it. As soon as it arrived I threw it and the two pillow covers in the wash so that I could sleep with my new comforter right away. I opted for the velvet side up, but the other side is a smooth microfiber purple that is also lovely. My cats of course had to investigate the something new in their domain. They seem to love the texture almost as much as my partner and I do. Most of our sheets are grey, so this comforter looks great with those. The comforter was very comfortable to sleep under. Both sides feel soft to the touch. It's very light and fluffy and I didn't overheat during the night. A perfect weight and temp for us with the air conditioning on. I also liked that the set is super affordable. Since we do have animals in the house, things do get damaged over time so we don't like to invest in expensive blankets but still want our bedding to look nice. Picked this up for my grand daughter. She is very girly, so this is perfect for her. If you are looking for a comforter set that will scream girl then this is it. It is so soft and a wonderful pink color. It comes with 2 pillow shams that are just as pretty and soft. It seems like it will be nice and warm not to mention very comfortable. I ordered the full size for our granddaughters bed and think she will love it and because it is one solid color you can get some really colorful throw pillows to go with it. This is a rich, deep purple color that looks very much like the picture, but does almost give a 70s vibe to it. The back is a smooth polyester and the comforter is lightly stuffed, it's fairly flat on the bed. I requested a king but used it on a queen bed and it was perfect to hang down and cover the mattress on both sides, I believe it would just fit the top of a king, so be aware. ... show more

First of all, this comforter is gorgeous!! I absolutely love the shade of purple. It is super soft and feels wonderful to touch. However, even after laundering and letting it fluff up from the compressed packaging, it is still super thin and lightweight. Doesn't keep me very warm. this set is easy to use. Slap on the comforter, put the extra set of pillows in the shams and you have a nice looking bed. My dog is going to love this and I hope he doesn't think he needs chew a hole in this one. This isn't overly feminine or masculine so we both like it.

100% polyester comforter set in a grey color ๐Ÿ˜ This set is soft to the touch and comes with one comforter and 2 sham pillowcases. Mine came in a King size and I cannot wait to wash and put my new bed spread on!
