Honestly, I wasn’t completely sure about this comforter at first. It came in this very small, tightly packed packaging so I was expecting disappointment and feeling it for the first time I wasn’t very impressed. But after a quick wash, I realized it was soft, comfortable and lightweight, but cozy enough to keep warm on cooler nights as well. The pillowcases are a slight downside as they have a zipper on the side and when trying to stuff a larger pillow in, it’s a tight squeeze and I was scared that the zipper would break. But the comforter is definitely worth it. Especially since I’ve seen comforters cost much more but feel uncomfortable. And with the pillowcases, it was easy to find other ones that matched well with this comforter so it wasn’t an issue. Update: I have had this for 3 years now and is probably the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon so I thought I should change my 4 stars to 5 stars. My initial doubts about it not lasting for long were definitely proven wrong since this thing has been through a lot with all the use and getting dragged around for the past few years. This comforter has spoiled me for any others and I haven’t been able to comfortably use any of my other blankets in so long. Even when I have to wash it, I turn into a child separated from their favorite blankie, hovering around the laundry room waiting for it to get done. It has gotten me through some pretty cold winters and some hot summers so all in all, it’s the perfect comforter. You'd be surprised how tiny this thing was in the package. It was packaged very securely in a plastic bag, and the plastic bag was in a typical zippered plastic comforter pouch...thing. It expanded like the Blob when I took it out, but this is a good thing. I have a new queen size bed and wanted a king sized comforter so I could pretend I'm grander than my station. The color is a beautiful deep navy, just as I expected it to be. It's rather thin for a comforter, but it's heavy and warm at the same time.The only reasons I'm giving it four stars is because the charcoal color is much lighter than it appears in the picture. I expected a darker gray, almost black, but instead it's more like a medium gray. It's not a big deal because gray is one of the colors I'm using in my color scheme, but be just be aware that the colors are not exact. It's also pretty wrinkly from being in the bags. Again, I don't really care because I'm not a stickler for those things, but someone wanting a more clean look might be bothered. Day Two: The material is soft but VERY thin. You can't get the wrinkles out. I followed instructions and put them in dryer with a damp cloth. Then tried dryer balls. Then tried hand held steamer, but it would only lessen the wrinkles and not fix them. I would be afraid to use an iron because it is thin and fragile. Then I spilled something on the corner. So I washed it according to instructions. You can't dry in hot heat. Low heat or air dry and for no longer than 20 minutes, per instructions. That wasn't enough to dry it. I had to baby it and tried a few other low settings. I thought for sure this would get the wrinkles out. Wrong! Still there. Really disappointed. It is soft and good for all seasons. Size, color all good. Just the wrinkle issue. ... show more
