My wife bought a pair of Moxy skates ($300+) and I thought I'd get a cheap pair just to have fun with her. I did a lot of research and decided that these would be acceptable for the price ($50). Turns out they are terrific! I didn't expect them to be so comfortable and high quality. The toe stops aren't built to last and will wear quickly, but you can buy better replacements. I've skated for miles on these and they are just really far beyond my expectations. Every once in awhile a product exceeds your hopes instead of disappointing. For me, that was these skates. I normally wear 8.5 in flats so I ordered a size 9 thinking that would be better with socks, but the 9s were too big. I actually think I could have gone with an 8 but I'll stick with the 8.5 I got today. Really nice basic skates, cheaper than the ugly ones, but too! The laces are way too long, but better than too short I guess. Super happy so far! ... show more

I didn't add a photo because I'm to lazy to get up and get the skates but these are a must for beginners like me comes with tools i forgot what they are called you can use these tools for the wheels to loosen them since your wheels will most likely be tight when u first get them that usual with any pair of skates anyway 10/10000 must get and they are also true to size my size fit great there was even some wiggle room ... show more

Got these for my 11 year old. She wears a size 5, and that's what I ordered. My size 7 foot fit in these perfectly. Will be returning. They look super cute, though. Too bad the sizing was way off.

I've just recently gotten into the idea of roller skating and wanted to purchase a cheap pair to start learning with. I was skeptical at first because I thought these had to be too go to be true. They were better than I expected and are a good quality. I don't know much about skates but the wheels seem to be good and not that hard cheap plastic. I wear a size 10 in womens shoes and ordered a size 10 skate; they fit perfectly. I'd definitely recommend these to someone wanting to try skating and who doesn't want to spend too much in the beginning.
