I can't really overstate how great this shirt is. Stylish, comfortable, professional enough for work (at least, in black), well suited for rain or shine. The SPF has already prevented a couple sunburns for me, and the anti-microbial material plus airflow/wicking works well for hot sweaty days...I stay cool and dry. Don't need an undershirt or anything...combined with the ease of hand washing and the very light weight, it's also well suited for traveling. (Seems to resist wrinkles pretty well too, although I haven't tried balling it up.) On top of that, it's proven to be durable, so I expect it to last and last. Definitely not a cheap wear-it-once kind of athleisure-fashion garment; it's a solid investment. Versatility is also a big plus. The shirt is thin enough and light enough that it's very easy to layer with another top (or two) plus a jacket. It works well when I'm traveling between climates, or I'm out a long time and the weather changes significantly, like a sudden rainstorm. It's definitely nice having snaps instead of buttons...quick to put on or take off, and they're secure enough. The two pockets are slightly difficult to open one-handed, but have ample room (for a shirt - can fit a cell phone easily). The zipper pulls have a slim profile so they rarely snag on anything, either. Finally, the fit is pretty exact, based on Columbia's given sizing. Make sure to check that before ordering. Usually I would have ordered a size medium as a hedge bet, but in this case that would have been too large - it's not a form-fitting top. These are great quality and perfect for vacations to the beach. They have snaps instead of buttons and it's easy to through over you swim suit if you are going to the beach/pool but want to be able to go do other stuff before and after. The have pockets with zippers and a loop for sunglasses.

Where to start. Fabric - fabulous. Light weight, soft and comfy. Fit - FINALLY a slightly fitted shirt that isn't boxy or way too fitted and tight. It is tapered at the waist just enough to have a contoured fit, plenty of space across the shoulders, length is exactly the right front and back with a curved hem, there is a small split in the sleeve hem which is functional and decorative. Pockets are hidden with zipper closures, but add NO bulk to the shirt.....can be used if you want to, but invisible if you don't. SNAPS NOT BUTTONS......this is such a nice touch. Easy to get on and off with no button to pop off. Love everything about this blouse so much I bought it in 5 colors. I love these shirts for backpacking in the summer. I did a trip last year at Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas. The climate was humid and rainy. We also had a few river crossings. I like how these shirts are breathable, dry quickly and have the snap closure. For one river crossing, the water came up to my waist, so I tied the shirt higher up on my torso and waded across. I am normally a medium in clothes but I size up to a large in these shirts. I like a roomier fit when I hike. I decided to get a second shirt and saw the Sun Glow was on sale. It looked like a soft yellow on my screen which I thought was cute. It’s actually a very bright rubber ducky yellow. Didn’t take off any stars because the shirt itself is great. Just be aware that colors might be brighter in person than online. ... show more

This shirt is so lightweight and comfortable I never want to take it off. I bought it in a few colors so I can wear one everyday to work outside! My only baby complaint is that it’s a little tighter around the tummy than other Colombia shirts that same size. But not tight enough to make me return it. ... show more

Nice, lightweight shirt perfect for hiking in warmer weather. Very easy care, folds up nicely for packing, and comes in several pleasing colors. Especially like the snap closures -- no buttons to fuss with -- and secure zipper pockets are big enough to hold my cell phone.
