I first purchased this in a large but it was too tight around the bust and waist. I usually wear a medium or large in tops. I had to get an extra-large in this shirt. It's really comfy and cute and keeps me cool and protected from the sun. Nice pockets and the color is perfect next to my fair skin.

This lightweight shirt is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. I really appreciate the soft, tightly woven fabric, sturdy, color matched snaps, hidden zip pockets, feminine shape, length, and ventilation. Unzip the pockets to increase airflow. I removed the tag on the sunglasses loop, and used a laundry marker to tone down the branding on the sleeve and back tag. This shirt would be improved if the mesh on the interior were color matched, or at least black mesh on the black shirt. The shirt is true to size, and can be styled as a light jacket, long sleeve shirt, rolled up sleeve, tucked into high waisted pants or skirt, untucked, etc.

I needed a shirt exactly like this. I thought about what would be the perfect shirt to protect me from the sun and mosquitoes. It would have to be super light weight because I get hot easily. It would have to be super comfortable because I get uncomfortable easily. I searched Amazon and found this shirt, ordered it and am now absolutely loving it. Because of other review recommendations and because this shirt is fitted, and because I have long arms and large hips, and because my intention is to wear this shirt over tank tops and such, I sized up to Large although Medium would be my normal size in tops. The Large is perfect (I am about a size 10 on top and a size 14-16 on bottom.) This Columbia Tamiami II shirt is even better than what I thought up in my head as the perfect shirt. It is vented in the upper back. The snaps down the front and on the sleeve cuffs are so much better than buttons because it is so easy and quick to open and close. There are 2 zippered pockets on the left and right bottom - Wow! It is fitted so gives a woman a fashionable look. It even has a bit of a stretch to it. It is so light and comfortable, you barely even feel it against your skin. The shirt is a bit see-through (at least, the white one is) so I don't think it is best for wearing without anything underneath. You might even get away with wearing this to the office with a camisole or tank top underneath, either buttoned up, or with some buttons (actually, snaps) on top unbuttoned for a layered look. I would say, because of the pockets, this shirt is better suited for not being tucked in. If you like this shirt but are looking for something that has a relaxed fit instead, or if you are on the XL size, consider the Columbia Sportswear Women's Bahama Long Sleeve Top instead. I love the Bahama top as well and wear that one in my normal size of Medium.

I love the fit and look of this Tamiami shirt my Columbia! I am curvy, and the fit is still great. I had tried the Columbia Bahama shirt and didnt like the fit or the style on me. The Bahama one was more ‘safari’ looking and this Tamiami one looks more classic. It is lightweight, doesnt seem terribly wrinkled even right out of the pkg, although it could use steaming and will be an easy to wear shirt for upcoming warm weather and vacations. The snap closures are super easy, and the sleeves stay up with a snap as well. The reason for 4 stars is the sheerness and the Columbia tag/label on the front. There is no way I would wear this without a tank or something underneath because it is pretty thin, and it could be worn more dressy and be more stylish if the Columbia tag was not there. I would like this in more colors.

These shirts are stylish, light weight, wrinkle free, quick drying, and also UPF protection from even the hot Florida sun. I started buying them in 2021 and three years later I can’t tell the new ones from my old ones. I wish they made a UPF sleeveless shirt out of the same material to wear underneath these shirts. I like to wear them open in the front like a jacket. While wearing I have never felt it was too hot to have on. We spend a couple months in Florida and when I wear these shirts I only need to put sunscreen on my face and hands. If I don’t snap close the sleeves no sunscreen needed on my hands too.

Imagine wearing butter; that's what this feels like. Great sun shirt and the snaps (instead of buttons) are a huge plus. I have several of these in various light colors and they wear well, last long, wash well and I love them for travel and outdoor activities.

You can't beat Columbia for quality, innovation and wearability. These shirts have venting to let the heat out, SPF 50 to keep you from sunburn, and an uncanny ability to dry almost instantly. Lots of pockets, some with velcro closures. The pockets have drain holes! You can actually feel cooler wearing a light colored one with the sleeves down than being bare. Amazing utility shirt for fishing, boating, kayaking or the beach, yet you can button them up, tuck them in and go to a nice place for dinner and it'll pass for a dress shirt. They wear like iron. They also make pants, some that convert into shorts, out of the same type of material. Some even have swim trunk like "undies" in them. I'm very prone to sunburn and take medication that makes it worse. On top of that, I've had some precancerous spots on my skin that had to be removed. So, I have to be completely covered when I'm outside for any length of time. I also like to sail/kayak. BAAAD combo... However, with one of these shirts and a pair of the pants, I'm perfectly safe. Moreover, I can be soaked to the skin and by the time I've got the yak and equipment packed up, I'm dry and ready to drive home. :-) I should explain that I'm reviewing the Columbia line of clothing, both men's and women's. This particular shirt is my wife's. ;-) Only thing is that they're wicked expensive. Watch for closeouts and sales. My wife said to mention that the sizes by style differ WILDLY. Watch the description of the cut (Loose, form fit, etc.) and order accordingly.
