I just started hiking so this is my opinion as a beginner. I normally wear 7-7.5. I ordered the hiking shoes in 8.5 and they were super comfortable, I cannot complain. I went to Shenandoah National park and had many walks, from easy to moderate. I had zero problem to climb rocks and I always felt very stable. The boot fits great and I like the style and color. I just wish that they had more padding in the insoles. I usually hike for several hours and my feet hurt as it is but I’ll try putting inserts. I like the boots so once iI break them in I hope they are more comfy.
