Getting ready for a trip to Eastern Europe, I got these shoes at the last minute and didn’t have time to break them in very well. Turned out to not be a problem. I replaced the insole with my orthotic pair and the shoes were as comfortable as if I had been wearing them for years. They were much needed on the cobblestones on European streets, as well as for the climbs up to the historic fortresses. Aesthetically, they looked perfect with the style clothing I was wearing. I purchased no show thick wool socks which I treated each morning with foot powder. Not a single blister or rub. I've worn these hiking shoes on two hikes now, both about 3 hours long and on some rocky terrain. These shoes were super comfortable the entire time and helped me keep my footing with no issues. These shoes are very comfortable *thankfully*! I got it to hike in CO and as I’m not an outdoorsy person these are my first hiking shoes. I got my right size and they fit me as expected and they didn’t hurt my feet (even though it was brand new) on an all day hike. And they’re cute!

I walk just about every night and it is nice to have a comfortable shoe for walking. The only thing is that I need to get new shoelaces that can't untie. I look forward to a nice hike when it cools off.
