I bought these for my trip to Alaska and I loved them! It definitely doesn't keep your feet warm if you're out for more than a couple hours in -20 C snow, and definitely need warm socks, but it kept it warm and dry for long enough. I did hike in them for like 5 hours in very deep snow and they got soaked inside and out, but that was expected. I liked the look of them too, and despite being a bit big for my size, it allowed me to wear extra socks and it's not like I needed to run in them or anything. ... show more

This is my first pair of Columbia boots and I am impressed. Very nice. Heavy and durable, I was afraid they would not be so nice-looking in person, but they definitely are. I got the Cinder/Crabtree color and they are actually beautiful. I read some reviews that they might run small, but mine (size 7) felt a bit loose. A pair if thick socks will fix that fine. I was watching these for 2 years to see if the price would go down. It did on prime Day, but also saw a "used" pair for $35. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had never been worn. Still had on tag attached. Fit perfectly, just enough room for thick socks. Very warm and comfy boots! I bough a 9.5W and it is indeed very wide. I will keep them so I can wear thick socks. I love the look as the top fluff elevates a little a sport boot. The shaft is high enough to keep snow out and tucked pants in. I cannot wait to start wearing them!

Purchased these boots for my college bound 9 Amazon Warehouse, so got a great deal. She is super picky, but seems to like her new snow boots. Took the advice of other reviewers and purchased them half a size bigger. They fit perfectly with thick socks. We are getting different colored laces to make them more fun.
