These are great quality, light weight, comfortable ,good ankle support, and look nice. I read the reviews and went a half size up and they fit just right but I will need an insert for arch support. I have not had them long enough to test the water proofing but think they will hold up well this winter. ... show more

I Can write all the great things about this shoe (I do love it), but when it comes to hiking shoes you need to try them on in store. I tried on probably 15 pairs of extremely popular hiking shoes for women in various stores, and absolutely hated them all! You have to find the shoe that feels right for you. This one was it for me! I hated the color they had in store, and also learned I would need a half size bigger than I expected (9.5), which they didn’t have in store. So I ordered on Amazon and got a color I love instead. I wore these for 10 days straight in Alaska with lots of walking and some low key hiking. They stayed dry and we’re very comfortable. No blisters! ... show more

Can’t wear with thick socks. But, with thin athletic socks these work. If you have a wide foot or tend to the larger size, then go up a half size. They are very well made and will hopefully be waterproof. Comfortable straight out of the box.

The Columbia boots are nice. They seem durable, waterproof, and Ike they will last a while. I typically order all my shoes (including previous boot orders) I’m size 7.5w. Unfortunately, these particular ones seem to run a pinch smaller than the Columbia boots I have bought in the past. I will be reordering in an 8.
