If you are like me, you wear shorts in NC all year long regardless of the temperatures. My older son gave me a pair to improve my "shorts" collection a year ago. I have to say he made a great choice, and I continued buying these shorts to a factor of (4) pairs so I can change them up with my workout shorts. The fit is awesome, they are waterproof so getting soaked by my grandkids is not an issue, and when I put them back in the drawer, I can simply roll them up. They do not wrinkle which increases the utility of these shorts not to mention the wearability on long backpacking trips.
