I was a little skeptical when I bought these for 30 bucks. I usually go to the boot store and get some 200 dollar ones. Never again! Those $200 things are heavy! Literally for no reason. These things are light as a feather. Walking around for 8 hours is no problem. Only one slight grievance. The grip on the sole is TOO GOOD. I was walking down a steep gravel slope and started sliding. My foot stayed in place so well that I almost dislocated my knee. In conclusion, these beat the $200 name brand boots I’ve always bought by miles. These boots were very comfortable. I opted for the wide version, and I'm glad I did - the regular width may have been too narrow. They were waterproof, at least with walking thru puddles, and very lightweight. Also, not as stiff as other boots I've tried on. These boots were flexible in the ankle area, making it easier to walk long distances but still providing the necessary support. Thick, cushioned midsoles and plenty of room (in the wide version, at least) for additional inserts such as for extra arch support. ... show more

Bit uncomfortable but I got some new inserts and are perfectly fine now. Right now I work in a machine shop it holds up quite well.

These boots fit great and are comfortable. They would work great as light hiking boots, although, I still prefer something more substantial as I think these would cause stone bruises on rocky trails. But they are great boots and for the right purpose they would be fantastic. My problem is I wanted to see if I could use them as work boots. The uppers have held up well but the soles..... that's another story. I am on concrete and asphalt and gravel all day long and they are comfortable for that. BUT, tomorrow I will have had these 2 months and the soles are almost worn smooth. In some places it looks like climbing in and out of truck steps have actually ripped off some of the traction nubs. I wasn't sure how these would do for my purposes but now I know. I already have enough light hikers so no point in replacing these. Gonna have to go back to heavy work boots, but, I enjoyed these while they lasted. At least they were cheap, but for only 2 months worth? Maybe not that cheap after all. ... show more

Normally wear 10 1/2 wide. Ordered 11 Wide to be safe. Right boot fine. Left boot a bit snug around the base of the big toe. Leather so put a wrench in that boot and stretched it out to the side a bit. Just wore them all day walking outside and later inside until evening. Forgot they were on they were so comfortable. Even rode motorcycle with them on. Soles a bit aggressive for footpegs and shifting but they sure worked. Do not use the top fast tie clips so no clue if they are prone to coming out. Actually only tie up loosely so not putting pressure on any of those fast tie clips. ... show more

I love these boots, after having two back surgeries. I can no longer wear tennis shoes to work in the yard or stand for a long time. These boots are a life saver, I can wear them all day, no problem ❤️
