This is my absolute favorite shirt. It is always the first shirt I grab when I am packing to go to the boat for the weekend. It is very light, soft and comfortable. It breaths very well with all the vents so it is perfect in tropical environments. Add a t-shirt underneath and/or a sweatshirt/sweater and this shirt can span a broad temperature range when it cools off at night. I like these II's better than the first generation because of less bulky front pockets that still have lots of room for every size of stuff. I have at least six of these and will grab a few more colors as they come back in stock in my size or add new ones. These wash very nicely and come out unwrinkled. Definitely wash and wear, which makes it such a good travel shirt. This shirt can be worn untucked for a casual look or tucked in to dress it up. Very versatile. If you are a fisherman, you will probably like the PFG logo on the center of the back too. I have lots of other style Columbia fishing shirts but the Tamiamis are the best!

I live and play on the MS Gulf Coast...and by play, I mean fish...offshore and inshore, in the hot summer sun. These shirts are the lightest Columbia has come up with yet, wear exceedingly well, dry super-fast because the fabric does not absorb water like cotton, and are excellent protection from the sun too, at SPF 40. The only thing I find puzzling is that some colors sell for $40 and others for $25, from the same Amazon Prime vendor...I guess they think they can get more for the colors that Mama likes, cause the fish sure don't give a darn! Another hint guys...if you have been coerced by your family into taking them to Disney World in June, these are dressy enough (provided that you get all the fish blood out) to wear around the park with golfing shorts, are a LOT more comfortable than knit polo's and you won't look like Joe Tourist...unless of course your wife has bought you madras shorts...LOL

I purchased two of these in 4xl tall for my husband who is 6’5” and these fit him great. I was excited to find that I could actually get Columbia shirts in a size that worked for him. Light, comfortable material great for his days on the lake but also nice enough to wear out for a casual dinner. The colors are beautiful and are not fading after several washes.

Bought this shirt 4 years ago and I still love it. It is a thin material so I always wear a t-shirt under it. It has gone through multiple washings and still looks brand new, no fraying, fading and the buttons are still firmly in place. I am not a fisherman but do like hiking, so it's my go-to shirt when out on the trail. Also, wear it to work weekly and have gotten many compliments on it through the years. As far as the fit goes, at 6'2" 210 the XL fits me perfect. Went with the green just cause I am an earth tone kinda guy. Would definitely recommend for outdoor recreation or just wearing to the office.

I have purchased about 10 of these shirts for my husband. They are very comfortable, they protect you from the sun and keep you cool. They also look great. They wash well and because they dry so quickly, there is no need to put them in the dryer. The shirts come in lots of colors and he gets compliments every time he wears one. We love these shirts.

I love the Tamiami fabric. I own about six different colors. Super light and breathable. I see people complain about certain colors and compare them to other styles. This is not a dress shirt, it is a performance shirt which looks good. It has many functions and details. I will continue to buy them. In stores they are $40 or $50. On amazon I usually buy them under $20.

He chose the peach color, and it looks great on him. The fabric is light, soft to the touch, and has great drape. The fit was exactly right, and the vented panel across the shoulders perfect for him. Now all he has to do is not get it stained! :D

I have a couple of these shirts for extreme heat. They are comfortable but not that durable. Also, they're kind of short. I typically wear a 15-1/2 tall (Lands End) or medium tall (LLBean). I haven't found these in tall. Not surprisingly, the large is longer, but if you're thin, they feel like a tent. The medium fits well except for the length. As far as durability, my first shirt is pilling/tattering after about 12 washes on gentle cycle in a front loader. The second seems to be wearing similarly.
