These Columbia Super Backcast full Nylon water shorts have gone on a tropical vacation with me, and they've been absolutely great to swim in and lounge at the beach and pool in. The Nylon mesh is actually very soft but is taut to avoid bunching. The stitching quality on the shorts is excellent. The art print is sharp and colorful. I am 6', 185lbs athletic and the medium 8" inseam fits me well, with the bottom opening of the shorts resting an inch above my knee. Overall, highly recommended. ... show more

I ordered these in a medium and the leg openings are huge. I have pretty sizeable thighs and these make my legs look small. Also, I wish it had some stretch built-in as they're really stiff in certain areas. It has an inner mesh lining as well so they can be worn during water sports, swimming, and working out. Pros: - Cool design - Good fit around waist and length Cons: - Super baggy around legs. I can fit multiple of my chicken legs in here. - Inner net is awful and bothersome around my legs. I've had better luck with inner nets that are looser and not as far up. - Standing straight leads to bumps and lumps in awkward places due to the thin material combined with the inner netting. I'm 5'7" and got the small. I normally wear a size 30 waist, and once again, the waist does fit. I would not buy these again. ... show more

Typical great Columbia quality. These are great quality and fit great as well. They have a fun pattern on them great for fishing or swimming or even pairing with a polo shirt out on the town. I get compliments on these shorts, mainly based on the pattern. They have a nice texture. I'm a fan.

Columbia is very trusted brand for a reason. The quality of these shorts is so great. They fit true to size. The colors are so vibrant and the fabric is such good quality. These seem like they will hold up well for a long time. I definitely recommend these swim shorts!
