Seriously what is with the lingering chemical smell ? They look like snow boots ( or so my friends say) and have that chemical smell. At least the keep my feet dry in the rain, and the sole provides a pretty good grip on most urban surfaces ( except maybe freshly waxed wet tile floors.) Fit runs as expected, for me at least. I don't wear heavy / thick socks, so if you do it might be a bit tight. ... show more

Loved the fit, loved the sturdyness but they do get a little tiresome after a while. Laceless design makes these shoes very easy to put on and take off, but the weight and flat/non-cushioned inside makes walking in them difficult after 6+ hours of walking in my experience.
