Bought this for five month old to go hiking and ice fishing in Maine in January. Could not have been happier, easy to put on, covers over his gloves and booties. It was 19 degrees on the day we hiked and he was very comfortable in this suit and being carried in a baby harness. The next day it was in the mid 30s and pouring rain while we set up and ice fished, it kept him dry for the little bit he needed to be in the weather before we set up the ice hut and warm. Wonderful quality! This is for our 6mo that wears 9/12mo sized clothing. This fits large enough for him to comfortably wear a layer or two under and grow a little. The hands and feet have fold over ends to close off the holes. The zipper has a velcro strap to keep it away from curious baby fingers. Worked great up in Mammoth Lakes. I purchased this after a bout of cold weather. The Columbia Baby Bear bunting I own seemed too thin given the wind chill. This is fleece lined, water resistant exterior but thin enough for the car seat. Purchased the 12-18 month size. My baby wears 12 month clothes. THIS THING IS THE BEST! You don't need any other winter clothes but this. It's super warm. I got it for my daughter when she was 5 months old and she has been able to use it for months now.
