Great coat. Very warm and comfortable. My son loves it. Washes well, too. I originally purchased a size Medium directly from Columbia for my 11yo who wears a size 12 based on their online sizing guide, even though everywhere else a 12 would equate to a Large. Don't trust the Columbia sizing guide! The Medium is too small for a boy who wears a 12. By the time I received the order, it was past Black Friday and all the size Large coats were out of stock at Columbia. I was only able to find a Large on Amazon for a higher price. Columbia's customer service dept is non-existent: I started a text chat on Dec 1 and they responded on Dec 16. They don't offer exchanges, either. And they charge shipping for returns. I drove to a nearby outlet to return and found this coat available for less than I paid on Amazon, but only because of another random person's return. Lesson learned: Columbia products are great but I won't buy directly from them online again. Buy where you know you can make a return if needed (like here).

We bought it for a child to grow. While it is still too big for him. It looks decent, I like the quality. We ordered another one size smaller and in a different color. If the first was big, then this one turned out to be a little small in the sleeves, and only the inner jacket. The sleeve only lengthens on the main jacket and this is a problem. Columbia thinks the inner jacket shouldn't "grow" in the sleeves.

My oldest son used this jacket for the 18/19 ski season and it kept him warm and dry in the teens and snow. We ordered the next size up to have in the closet for when he needs it. Update after another season of use, the jacket is still in perfect condition even after a lot of time on the mountain this year. My oldest will be moving up to the next size for the 20/21 season and this one will move the middle kid.

This jacket is ok, we bought 2. Keeps them warm while skiing and sledding. The zipper is really tricky though. My 6.5 year old and 9.5 year old have a hard time sipping it without assistance from an adult. The. We struggle to get it zipped too.

Bought this for my 5 year old son for a ski trip. He is a good size 5/6. The jacket fits him perfectly. We ordered the xs. With the extended sleeve option we should get at least 2 years out of this jacket! He loves the design!
