I purchased an 8'x72' section, an 8'x6' section and an 8'x4' section to improve privacy around the pool at our second home. The product didn't get here super-fast, but didn't take months, so no problem there. We were building our privacy fence anyway. The quality of the construction is very good, so no problem there. But as the photos show, the height of the screen is not the 8' advertised. We built our fence so that the dimension from the top of the top horizontal 2x4 to the bottom of the bottom horizontal 2x4 is exactly 8', but the screen came up way short and needed to be stretched a lot to even hook over the J-shaped retention hooks. This yielded an uneven, unprofessional look and I fear that it will cause the screen to wear out quicker due to the pulling. Worse yet is that while we can't see through from the pool side, due to trees in a small valley between our pool and the homes across the way, the degree of visual occlusion from the valley side is quite inferior to what we expected based on the photos that accompany the listing. Even with the privacy lattice, we're sitting ducks, privacy-wise. We're going to try doubling up on the screen to see if that ups the privacy factor, so I ordered another 72' section and have my fingers tightly crossed. If it doesn't yield the privacy we need, I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I'll have to spend up and get something different. ... show more

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any holes across the sides to secure this screen to the fence at the top. There are only the holes at the four corners. Screen quality is wonderful. I comes with nothing but the screen. No ties.

I've written glowing reviews about this product in the past having purchased 3- 6x50' sections. They were all very good quality with grommets that are still mostly holding up given the high wind shear coming from the golf course behind me. While those were measured to be within acceptable limits, these 8x50 are not. Their nominal width is 8ft and actual is listed as 7'9". Sadly this is not the case. Of the 2 sections I purchased, one was 7'5" and the other 7'3" fully stretched. I feel a bit cheated in a way since I'm missing almost 50sqft of fabric between the 2. I would return them if I would be assured of an actual width on my next order. Doubtful since this size is FBA. ... show more
