The first thing you should know is that the chocolate brown is not chocolate brown, it's much lighter. And because these are synthetic, they can't be dyed to match. So I was really disappointed in the color. That said, the quality of the extensions is really good. The hair feels soft and natural, it adds plenty of fullness and it's long, wavy and really pretty. If the color was true, I would love them. So...buy them, just go with a darker color if you want a true chocolate brown.

I did not expect these to be so nice, they look like my own hair, which is fantastic! This was a first-time hair extension purchase for me. Years ago life was not going great and I spent a solid decade suffering from telogen effluvium. (Hair loss due to stress ) I had thick healthy hair before life went in this direction and my hair has never recovered. I wanted to try extensions because I'm so tired of thin hair. It's pathetic and makes me look 10 years older than I am, which I really don't like. I can't even get small hair elastics to stay in well so I was worried the clips might not work, but they did. I finally had thick beautiful hair again, and there was nothing weird or phoney-looking about it. I can't even tell you; let's say I spent time crying. I need to perfect how to do this so I'll be spending some time watching YT tutorials, but even trying them out having never done anything like this before, they looked so great! The extensions came in a hairnet inside of a bag, and inside of a box, so they were in great condition when they arrived. They also came with a giant comb; I recommend using this and not your own so you don't risk pulling hair out. If you take care of the extensions they should last for some time. I gave them all a quick brush to make sure everything was tangle-free. There were almost no tangles and the fallout from brushing all of them was just a few hairs, combined. Certainly far less than I lose every day! I am absolutely buying more and in various colors. I can finally have some fun with color now that I don't have to risk dying my hair and having even more fall out! THESE ARE A MAJOR WIN! Utterly life-changing for me; Thank you Colorful Queen Store!

This set of hair extensions (Colorful Queen Chocolate Brown Clip in Hair Extensions 4PCS Chestnut Hair Extensions Clip ins for Women 20 Inch Long Wavy Natural Synthetic Hairpieces) are very full and long. I really like the clips used as they open wide and clipped easily and held strong but the strip is bulkier than I would like. It still sat flat against my head, just wider than my previous experience. Synthetic hair feels different than real hair, these are soft and wavy but moved different than my own hair and have a slightly different texture than real hair. Even though I had some waves left in my hair from the air styler from the day before, I didn't find the waves blend into my hair that well. I included a pic I try to take from the bathroom mirror. I put in both the 4 clips and 3 clips extensions into my hair and it gave it more fullness and extra length. My hair is many shades of brown so this chocolate brown shade just added some more highlights and dimension to my hair. I think these extensions are fun to use and I may trim them a bit to blend better with my own hair. They are very easy to put on and the clips hold well. Since I already have a lot of hair, it was easy to hide the wider strips. Overall, I like these as far as synthetic hair goes, they are affordable and can easily change your look without a lot of commitment. It's a quick way to add some fullness and length. I'm glad I was able to get these extensions to try out.

The hair looks and feels healthy, I'm sure it can be cut and shaped if you wanted. The sections are a bit more 'stripey' than pictured in the listing, but a good quality. The side sections should have had 4 clips in my opinion instead of 2 because the area between the two end clips bulged out and the pieces slid without staying secured in place. The pieces all together add quite a bit of weight to your head. As a first-time user of anything of this sort, the weight was felt strongly. For an average sized Caucasian head, the pieces will likely overlap due to their width along the sides & back of the head, so it may be an issue for some without a wider skull. The very ends of each strip where the hair is sewn to, next to the end clips, is a bit bulky and pointy, and without your own thick hair to cover this, it may poke through and stick out. I do not recommend this for someone with a thinning hair issue or without sufficient strength because the clips need enough hair to grab & hold onto to prevent slipping, and you need enough hair to cover these hair pieces to sufficiently cover them. If you have the right head size and hair, this can definitely pass as your authentic hair and look fabulous, but if not, you might be very uncomfortable wearing these or constantly checking for clip slippage. The strip ends needs to be strong, but thin and rounded, and there needs to be enough clips along the strip to allow the user to cut a section off to fit a skull that isn't wide or large. These changes would earn a 5-star rating in my opinion.
