I have been using this powder with sunscreen for years, it seems expensive but it truly is a quality product. I love that it comes in many shades including fair, or more commonly referred to as pale. It's super simple to apply, I remember when the design was somewhat new, it was a challenge to get it to dispense the right amount, fighting with clogged up brushes to wasting 1/2 the product on the floor! Colorscience has great customer service as they sent me a replacement years ago, when that happened and didn't require the return of the one I was complaining about. It works great to even skin tone and cover redness with a barely there feel. Great way to wear that sunscreen, we all know we are supposed to wear without adding extra product and extra time to meet that need. 1 bottle lasts for about 3 months, based on near daily use.

My esthetician introduced me to this product and I am so glad she did! This is the best face sunscreen, not to mention how easy it is to apply. Let me start by saying one negative of this product, I have had multiple brushes that do not work and do not release the powder, however Amazon and this company has always been amazing with returns for a defective item. On a new brush, make sure you turn it upside down and tap the bottom of the product three times to get the powder started. It is sometimes hard to see if the powder is coming out (if you pick a light color that is similar to the brush color itself) so here’s a tip: hold it brush side up where there is good lighting and give the brush a few flicks and you can see the powder! I always have success this way when using a new brush. One of my favorite things about this product is it has Zinc! Other cream based sunscreens that have zinc are so thick and leave your face white. I live in Florida and use this sunscreen on a daily basis. I also always buy this 3 pack because I keep one in my car, purse , and vanity for easy application. I also apply this product when going out at night as a setting powder for my regular foundation for a smooth finish and for extra protection from UV rays. This product provides great coverage even from the sun at the beach. As advised on the package, you should apply every 80 min when outside/ in water and I have used this at the beach/ pool without any burning not to mention how quick it is to re apply making it a breeze!!! This product is a must in so many ways!!!

This spf powder is an excellent solution to the old problem of "how do I reapply sunscreen over my makeup?" I love that it's SPF 50, non-irritating, and translucent without too much yellow. It does get a little dry and cakey after multiple applications, though. Still, it's better than going without makeup! I reapply this over regular foundation or tinted primer and my skin feels protected throughout the day. The only major downside is the ridiculous packaging. I carefully followed the manufacturer's instructions and still couldn't get it to dispense through the built-in brush. They suggest that you bang it several times against a hard surface before each use - who wants to go through that when you're trying to do quick touch-ups throughout the day? "Pardon me while I slam my sunscreen around, please ignore all the banging." I took the excellent suggestion of another Amazon reviewer and dumped all the powder into a different compact. So now I have to carry a compact plus a retractable brush, but at least I can get the product dispensed. Seriously, the manufacturer needs to figure out better packaging. Still, it's such an excellent solution for anyone who needs to reapply sunscreen over makeup that I only deducted one star for the terrible dispenser. I hope they'll work on that.

I've used this brand for a while. I became worried about the Titanium Dioxide after doing some reading on sunscreen. Luckily, I was seeing my dermatologist, so I asked her. She said she still prefers this product, along with SuperGoop, and does her best not to inhale while applying. I have already had skin cancer and need to protect my fair skin, so I ordered it from Amazon. UNFORTUNATELY - REVIEWS ARE RIGHT - THE BOTTLE DESIGN CHANGED AND IS VERY FLAWED I reached into my purse today to lift the tube out. It wasn't wedged in at all. I pulled the tube up and BAM it just came out, without the bottom cap, which was the bottom of the powder container. It remained there, and when I lifted, I spread the powder all over the purse. There was no tug. No pull. Just lifted off. I didn't even notice until I spread it on my clothes. Now I need a new walking purse. The leather Fossil bag is toast. There is no removing the powder. Inside or out. It just gets in the pores, which is fine on my skin, not in my leather purse. I went to wash the bulk of it down the sink drain and created a Titanium Dioxide dust cloud - the one and only thing I needed to avoid using this product. This was a complete failure, and I feel ripped off. Product packaging/design is not rocket science. I thought the original design was clever. Whatever they changed was an epic mistake. The fact that they are still selling this makes them predatory, in my book. Dangerous.

What a wonderful way to reapply sunscreen, plus it makes my skin look great - not cakey or overdone. Update: loved it so much I ordered a second one - this time in Fair again but not “glow”. There is still a satin like sheen - very nice; not sure which one I like best yet. The fact that you can sun protect your ears or scalp with no mess is worth every penny. I'll put one in my golf bag. This might be spendy but no more than a prestige brand powder to cream foundation and it’s good for your skin! I also use the Colorscience blush sticks. Great products.

I tried everything I could to get the powder to come out of the brush but it would not work. In the end, I had to pour the powder into another container. The powder itself is great but the packaging needs some work.
