Excellent! Love it! Read the negative reviews and bought it anyway. Glad I did. It was sticky, yes. But I took the little boys advice and rubbed it over with corn starch. Works perfectly. Great Grandpa toy to entertain his grandkids. Bought another one for my grandson-8 years old.

We got this as a play lasso. I’m sure it isn’t a great kids rope if your child was looking to compete at roping, but I honestly wouldn’t know. It is super fun, easy to break in and very easy to use for someone who is just wanting to try their hand at it. It feels legit (hard and waxy, easy to form a loop, easy to hold) and even the adults enjoyed using it. Yes I have horses and I have tried roping years ago, but I have absolutely no idea if this is a good lasso for actual beginner kids. I would highly recommend it for kids who are looking to get a feel for a real lasso to just have fun with though.     • Cornstarch takes away the stickiness!
My kids love this lasso! It is very flexible, and they are quickly learning to use it. We had read the reviews about the stickiness, but decided to buy it any way. When it arrived, it was indeed sticky. One of my kids suggested we rub it down with cornstarch. That worked perfectly!! My son agrees that the rope is sticky but with use it become more slick and he enjoys practicing on the vacuum cleaner, dinning chairs and his brother when possible. Great value for the fun!
