This Color Nymph makeup kit is good for a teen gift set. While the overall quality felt just okay to me (some things rubbed off quickly and the lip gloss was a bit drying on my lips), I kept reminding myself I’m not really the main audience here. For a teen, though? They would feel absolutely spoiled opening this. The packaging is really cute and makes it feel like a special treat, and everything is super easy to use without any fuss or intimidation. The blush stands out as the star for me, it’s vibrant, blends easily, and actually lasts longer than I expected without staining. The contour and highlighter don’t have crazy staying power but they’re still fun for learning and experimenting. The lip glosses give a shiny look and the brush included is pretty handy. The components themselves were all constructed well without damage or a particularly cheap feel. It really feels like a set designed to make a younger person or beginner feel like they’re getting the full beauty experience.
