I am used to big clunky stainless steel water bottles so when I received this I was a little taken aback at how small it was. But it actually holds about three cups of water which is a good amount to carry around without getting too heavy. The packaging was geared for gifting. But for just using it myself, I could have done with more environmentally friendly packaging. I wish companies would offer the option of plain or no packaging... Mine is going to wind up in a landfill after I made the effort of buying an environmentally friendly water bottle. It doesn't make sense. After unrolling the bottle I proceeded to wash it out with warm soapy water. The website says you can put boiling water and lemon in it the first time before using, I did not do that but probably I should. Then I filled it, it had no trouble standing on its own when full and didn't leak at all when tipped. You have the option of drinking out of the spout or with the straw. I think a straw is easier with a soft silicone bottle like this. The entire top part pops off for easier cleaning although you will still need a brush or something to really get in there. There was no funny smell or funny taste to the water which was nice. So many reviews of other products I have read where the bottle stinks so bad that you don't want to even drink the water. This was not the case with this bottle. I plan on doing an extended trip overseas and I'm trying to pack with carry-on only and this little bottle really fits the bill. It will tuck just about anywhere and won't be too heavy to lug around once filled with water. I am happy with the purchase! Now please fix that packaging!

This bottle is a little smaller than I imagined, though it does stretch out a tad when filled. I like that you can choose to drink either from the straw or by unscrewing the cap. (Take care when screwing on the cap. If you don't get it threaded just right, it will leak all over.) I had trouble figuring out how to remove the top to add ice. The only thing that works for me is to unscrew the cap, hook my finger inside and pull up. At first I thought the whole grey part came off, but no- just the middle of the grey part comes out. It is easy to roll up and stow when empty. I wish they'd included a small carabiner to hook it onto a backpack when full. I took off one star for needless plastic packaging it came in. A reusable water bottle is going to appeal to earth friendly consumers who, like me, will find all that plastic a pretty big turn off.

If you overfill this it will leak. Other than that it's a neat concept, as you drink the bottle deflates and shrinks up. You can re-pressurize it while drinking or by giving it a hard shake while the straw is "open". But in general it stores neatly. My biggest concern is that it's not easy to dry for storage long term. You'd have to let it air dry. My biggest concern for travel is that it does leak. I wouldn't trust it in a bag or with anything pressing against it.

Super pleased with this water bottle! I am one to always carry a water bottle and after my last hiking trip, I decided to look for a smaller one. Sometimes, carrying my large water bottle, when I'm well hydrated and only have a little water left, is a bit annoying. I thought it'd be nice for those type of occasions to be hands-free and have something small enough to fit into a large coat pocket. This is the solution! Love the strap handle and overall design, really quality details. I won't use the straw but like that it's protected if my clumsy self drops it. I was surprised when I unscrewed the lid, that it popped to its' full size cube-like shape, before adding any water. Pretty neat. Just as easy to roll back into pocket size. Super lightweight. I thought cleaning it would be tricky because I don't have a small enough bottle brush but it washed up fine. I usually add true lemon to my water so I'll likely use a straw brush to get inside more thoroughly. I'll update my review if mildew or mold become an issue anywhere or if it leaks. I thought it was funny that the packaging said that it's FDA approved being that the FDA doesn't approve water bottles but I looked it up and they do approve silicone so I digress. Feels like great quality and I think it'd make a nice gift for anyone like myself who regularly carries a water bottle. The color listed as pink is actually more of a peachy pink, coral but I love it. Highly recommended.

This water bottle can do so many things. It’s so cool! It has a soft quality because of the silicone and it’s so easy to fold up and put away. I love having the option to drink without and with a straw, and both seal easily and it doesn’t leak! The color is a light orange when I ordered a pink, but it’s still pretty.

I got this water bottle for cruises because I needed something that had a decent capacity and was compact and easy to pack. When packing, I just fold it up (pressing in as I do) with the cover off, then screw the cover on when it is compacted (to keep the air from being drawn back in) and pull the loop over the folded area (see photo). It compacts to about the size of my fist and i easy to fit in a carry-on or checked luggage. To use, I just take the loop off and open the cover. It sort of inflates itself when the air is allowed in, and it takes its standard square-based shape (it stands up this way without assistance). Then I just add cold water (I verified the 20-ounce capacity) and I am ready to use it. Over an hour of use, it kept the water pretty cold. It did sweat a bit, but not quite as bad as a standard plastic bottle of water, and it stayed colder than a plastic water bottle does. For $20, this is a reusable solution that works great for travel and is priced right.
