I bought this pool cue, in the blue color, for my son for a birthday present. It shipped quickly and was in perfect condition. The outer packaging was not damaged, and the actual case and cue stick were wrapped in plastic and were in perfect condition. My son loved the color and design and also the feel and weight of the stick. I bought him the 21 oz as that was his preference. He is a big guy at 6' 5" and 230-ish pounds. Even though the stick felt good in his hands he said he might want to try adding an extender because he has a long reach. Everything about this cue stick was as described and seemed to be very good quality. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because my son hasn't had a chance to use it in his league yet, so he doesn't know how it will perform. But his first impressions were very good. I purchased this as my first based on a 9.8 low-deflection cue review for Collapsar brand, after I started playing in an 8-ball double elimination community tournament. I have been impressed with the fine workmanship and technology features -- with no idea what a more expensive cue would improve on -- and I give it credit for helping me make less mistakes than my next three opponents, with only two more matches for the championship. The only reason for only 4 stars is that the shoulder strap was missing from the package, and when a replacement was received it was a cheap slippery one not worth waiting for. The case itself is actually of such unexpectedly high quality that I recommend buying a fine quality shoulder strap to match if you don't already have a substitute available from an unused shoulder bag like I did. ... show more

Poor connection no metel female adapter. Top half screws into threaded wood. So everytime you screw it together sawdust falls out. Which means before long it will not be a tight connection therefore will be junk in no time with stripped threads 👎
